Alicia served us today and was more than happy to cater for a fussy eater. Our food was served to our table very quickly by Ryan and Kieron. The food was hot on arrival and the meat cooked perfectly and as requested.
The staff are always friendly and helpful and we have never had a bad meal here. 👍

We went to the Stag's Leap to celebrate my grandma's 100th birthday. I messaged them first to ask for a nice table and they went above and beyond decorating a table with a helium balloon and a gold tassel curtain on the window as well as buying her a card and a lovely framed poster of things that happened 100 years ago. We had a lovely meal, pudding and drinks. A massive thank you for a lovely afternoon and going above and beyond for a special event.

Me and the family had a lovely meal this Friday, Jess the waitress was amazing, she came over to our table to clear our plates once we had finished our meal and took the time to talk to our youngest daughter Aurora. Even though she was extremely busy at the time with all the other customers she took the time to talk to us about our baby girl. It gose a long way when staff take the time out there way to interact and make genuine conversations with the customer. Most people just clear the table say hello and move on. 5* for Jess today. A real person talking to real people. Thank you for your service 🙏🙏🙏

Fantastic local pub for a cheap and cheerful meal.
Have been here quite a few times since it was turned into a Generous George pub and had some great food. Burgers are always a decent size, pizzas are all made fresh to order, and the ice cream bar is a nice touch!
Ideal for family meals or an evening out with friends. Pub has pool table and TV'S for the adults at one end, and a kids play area at the other.

On a busy night excellent food served quicker than we thought, excellent drinks and service as normal and a brilliant quiz couldn't fault what's probably best pub in area

It was a really hot day but it was lovely and cool inside, the food we ordered was piping hot and delicious, we had starter, mains and pudding,everything was just perfect, we have been before and on occasion not so good but couldn't fault this time at all

I booked a table for 7 for a birthday and early Father’s Day from the moment we arrived the staff were friendly especially Gemma who served me,was asked if anyone had any allergies (my son is coeliac) and it was great to have a choice for him he went for the spicy burger meals came quickly were hot no complaints even my youngest ate all his food we will be dining again very soon

A birthday party consisting of 10 adults plus children (3)
We were treated very well, nothing was too much trouble, a great time was had by all, thank you.

Brilliant afternoon meal for my birthday with my son and daughter, excellent service followed by great food

Bought my daughter in for a surprise treat after doing well at school. She had Pizza which was lovely and freshly made to order, I had the steak which was cooked beautifully. The service was prompt for a fairly busy tea time, and the staff were very friendly.

A wonderful little treat for myself, my 2 daughter's and my grandson whom couldn't wait for his dipping donuts so I asked the staff if he could have them to start with and they were most welcoming so we had one happy little boy. The food was tremendous and such good portions. Overall it was a fantastic start to Christmas, carry on the good work xx
