Rajbari Indian Cuisine

This place is so delicious! For the first time EVER I have tasted really authentic, tasty, healthy, delicious halal food. It's like visiting your relatives house and they made you a delicious meal. We really enjoyed it. Parking so easy and service so quick. Everyone who has any taste should be eating here regularly!

We came in December visiting Alton towers and we're staying nearby looking for local halal food it did not disappoint.

Will hopefully visit again in August!

Great meal, can't praise it enough. One of the best Indian meals we have ever had, tasty and good choice on the menu. Staff friendly and attentive. They don't have a drinks licence but they allow you to bring your own, Good to know if it is your first time. Stopped in as we travelled on the canal, best decision we made, a must for all boaters if passing through.

The Rajbari Rugeley is still as amazing as it was back in the 90s. It never disappoints, the flavours are absolutely perfect and portions are a great size. I've always used Rajbari for years now. Tonights meal was lamb rogan josh, vindaloo hot, keema pilau rice and chips. Absolutely brilliant and tastes amazing. Lots of lamb. Thank you Rajbari

Can't go wrong. Take your own alcohol, food is fantastic, staff can't do enough for you. Ordered more than we could stomach and it still cost less than we were expected.

Fresh and full of flavour, really delicious food. Always consistent and really wonderful service. The best Indian restaurant in Rugeley for me.

Once found, this restaurant will quickly become your benchmark for Indian food.
Many patrons have been going here for 30 plus years, testimony indeed.
Once licensed, now it's take your own booze since Covid made the Liquor license uneconomical to keep.

We’ve tried The Shimla Palace and Viceroy, but their food is bland, tasteless and overpriced compared to Rajbari Indian Cuisine. Wonderful flavours, cooked to meet the variety of tastes and delivered on time.

Awesome meal as always. Chicken Chaat starter was excellent, very tasty. Tried the Noratoba main curry on the recommendation of the boss & was not disappointed - very very nice. Even the keema naan was perfect. Cheers Brucie boy will be seeing u again soon 👍

Christmas eve went for a family meal,the service was outstanding and the food was very enjoyable.we all enjoyed it like always will be returning.

The best curry house by far. Bruce and his staff are very welcoming and friendly. A very good assorted menu and will cater for different dishes to suit your taste. We have been going for over 20 years and have never had a bad meal at all. All the best to Team Bruce.

Probably the best curry house in Rugeley great food ,take your own drinks which is always a bonus, we had the set meal for £16 Good value, I had chicken chilli garlic rice and keama nan , Lisa had chicken tika mushroom delight with rice, both were very tasty and very nice,I do recommend it ,will always go back

Loved the food it was great lots of choices and the people were lovely the atmosphere was amazing overall it was great would recommend it to anyone for a party or just a couple.

Excellent food and service, always made to feel very welcome by Bruce and the team. New menu which we've started sampling, everything we've had so far has been excellent. Highly recommended

My wife and I stopped by for a friend's 30th birthday on a Sunday evening. A local to this restaurant, our friend only had good things to say about the food and the staff, and I have to agree.

This is your typical Bangladeshi family-ran British-Indian eatery, but the guys here do it so well. All too often I see places like this lose their motivation and spark after years of service, but the guys at Rajbari still have buckets of it - the food was wonderful, and served hot & fresh with a smile and a laugh. Nothing (within reason) is too big an ask - for example they put together a little dish for the kids which went down a treat. The meat/veg to masala/sauce ratio is pretty good, and the portion sizes are pretty bang on. At just over £10 for a filling two-course meal, I feel like I'm robbing them!

The interior of the restaurant could do with a little TLC, but don't get me wrong - the place is clean and a nice place to stop for a meal out; they even have nice quality toilet paper lol. They have a cool selection of non-alcoholic drinks and desserts, which we didn't get to try on this occasion.

I wish these guys continuing success with Rajbari - this cuisine is slowly dying out, and the gents aren't going down without a fight (sorry for the cheesy ending lol).

Fantastic service every time we come. Bruce and the team make us all welcome and the food is always superb. Lamb tikka garlic coriander jalfrezi is the one to have 👌🏻

We love takeaway from De Raj, it always arrives hot, on time and the service is always excellent. Having eaten in the restaurant also many times we found the quality of food is brilliant, over the years we have gotten to know the staff, they always make us very welcome
