Canvey Seafront

Another great day at Canvey, the crabbing/Pool area on Concord Beach is perfect for children to swim in the sea but be protected by a walled area, great crabbing opportunities in the pool and surrounding rocks. I'd suggest beach shoes are worn as it's a sandy/Pebble beach and the pool has crabs in which may nip toes. The cafe just along this area has a great variety of drinks, food and snacks and other beach essentials such as shoes, ice cream, buckets, spades and the crabbing bate. There is a second walled area for swimming behind the cafe. There are toilets a short walk from the beach in the car park, 3 car parks available.

Loved sitting here watching the sea. Not much of a beach but so peaceful. Cheap parking. Definitely be coming here more often.

Brilliant place to take the kids crabbing, lots of benches available by the paddling pools. Kids would spend hours here happily. Toilets are a bit of a walk away.

Love coming here. 2 Rock pools, cafe on the beach, amusements for the kids and some outdoor rides. Perfect all year round. Oh and they do donuts and ice cream

Canvey has had lots of regeneration and is well worth a revisit for a nice day out. There is lots to do for a lovely day out. There is lots of Parking with easy access to free toilets , there is a funfair and lots of Amusements. There is also lots of restaurants ,seafood places ,cafes and bars. Canvey Seafront is a lovely walk along the river with some great views, it is full of interesting history and nostalgia. There is a lovely cafe overlooking the beach area and paddling pools. There is also some great artwork painted all along the Seawall , which tells of Canvey’s interesting history and heritage. You will enjoy a nice walk along Canvey Seafront and enjoy your time here . I’m sure you will return as so many do.

My Daughter took me there bout 3weeks ago, haven't been there for yonks.
It's not the best seafront in the world, (not half as busy as Southend), but for a quiter day out... Its a lovely place to go.
I'd recommend "Sue's Café", fast friendly, happy staff, We both ordered burger and chips and a can, it came to £12for both... DEFINITELY worth a visit.
If you're happy with looking at the sea wall whilst eating then you'll enjoy Canvey Island..... After lunch I'd recommend walking along the sea wall, as far as you can, you'll come across some beautiful shallow ponds, watch the sea come in n out..
It brought back so many memories of when I used to go there

It has a very nice sea front and it’s closer to London. It takes only 54 minutes to go there. It can be a short break on Sunday afternoon with your family and kids.

Before the gangs arrived it was a very enjoyable day. Lots to do and see, places to eat and lovely hot doughnuts 10/10

Good place not very busy and safe for kids, bluesh green water with straight surface for upto 20 meter

Canvey Island Seafront with a tidal pool is a nice place to go with family on a sunny day.

Pros: sandy beach, different interesting activities for kids (not only digging the sand and picking up shells but catching crabs or prawns), beautiful graffiti on the wall of the beach with information about history and nowdays of local communities.

Cons: many pieces of broken glass in the sand, lack of amenities (no toilets and a fountain with drinking water).

Lovely place to see a sunset.
Quiet town. High street with shops and a big Sainsbury’s nearby

Sports bar is a great place to take our dog for a drink after a walk on Sea wall. Staff are friendly with sensible prices. You can get a meal here as well. There is multiple screens here for sport. If you stay longer you put your car reg on there computer as it's free. Great place highly recommend.

Calm sea with a peaceful location. Fun games and cafes are available

But todat watched the Sewage whirling around along the edge of the beach.

Very windy but better and less crowded.
