Fantastic day out. The gardens really are worth seeing. At each twist and turn there are different things to see - all very quirky, but fascinating and fun! Plenty of seats are dotted about so you can just sit and appreciate what you're seeing. Entrance is £14 for an adult, but there are child and family tickets available. The restaurant had good seating areas both inside and out, and served a good selection of lunches and afternoon teas. The sandwiches were like doorstops with plenty of filling and cost about £10 depending on filling. The ham+mustard was good! Picnics are strictly not allowed. A decent sized free car park was just across the road making a visit very easy. I should think that it gets very busy during weekends and school holidays.

I visited today with a group of 36 women from the WI (Women's Institute). It was raining during our entire visit, but that didn't stop us from enjoying these fun and quirky gardens. The dinasours were so entertaining! We also had lunch in the cafe. We had pre-ordered our meals and the staff (Rachel, Poppy and Sarah) were very efficient and friendly when sorting out everyone's orders. Would definitely recommend for a group visit.

A quirky, fun experience! Food and service in the restaurant was superb. Excellent quality and value. Proper homemade fare in generous portions with local produce. As for the two lovely ladies on duty (21/9/24)... Sooooo lovely and welcoming. Made our day! Recommended!

This my 3rd visit to these gardens, the last being 2 years ago. I love this place!!! The gardens are beautifully laid out, and the whole place feels so welcoming and friendly. Since I was last here, they have constructed 3 more gardens, one of which is Jurassic World. Brilliant! The planting is a little understated here, but I'm sure it will improve with time. So much time and money has been invested in this attraction, they deserve to do well. My favourite display is still the fountain display that responds to music being played; delightful.
When it came to lunch, I said to the lady "I hope you are still offering the smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich." "Certainly", she said. It was fabulous, and the extended terrace dining facility is a joy. Well done Ralph Court, and thank you for another lovely day out.

We visited in August while they were setting up for Halloween. It looked like they were going to put on a great show. Lots of different areas from Alice in Wonderland to Pirates. They have their own unique gardens which are well worth a visit for all ages with little surprises around every corner from talking trees to sculptures that will make you scream! A great day out and a lovely cafe to complete the day.

We had a really enjoyable walk around the gardens. The dahlias are amazing and loved the themed areas. The musical fountain in 'Italy' was particularly lovely, and the Monet garden was perfectly done. It's a proper little maze - I think we spent about 4 hours here in the end, finishing with a tasty lunch. All the staff we met were friendly. We will be back.

I recommend it to anyone! The gardens look amazing! Though quite expensive unless you have 2 for 1 tickets. Great for children as well and there is a café with decent lunch food.

This is relatively small but fun place to visit. It made us laugh and smile. Plus the tea room is excellent. You can see a lot of work goes into it. I feel sure young children would enjoy it, looking for items of interest, spotting fairies and learning about Alice in wonderland. But it's not all about children as Monets waterlily garden is recreated with the history (briefly) to educate you, japanese garden where you can ring the gong, and italian garden where water rises to music. Few people were there when we went which made it more enjoyable for us.

Quirky fun gardens. We had a great morning here wandering around the different world gardens. They are quite amazing and so well done. There is a lovely cafe area too which served lovely cakes.

This is an institution with a very beautiful territory and an incredibly beautiful garden. We visited it on Halloween. The scenery is very beautiful, the music is chosen accordingly. The territory itself is large. There is parking for cars, there is a nice restaurant to eat deliciously. The staff is polite and friendly. Definitely recommend for a visit!

Most gardens would be a bore to children but not this one. Lots for kids to look at especially the dinosaurs. From an adult perspective there's a great variety of planting to enjoy and a pleasant cafe for refreshments.

Unusual but lovely mostly water gardens. Great for the kids. They have gone all out for Halloween. Staff lovely. Only downside was quite expensive.

What a great place! We had a fabulous time walking around the gardens here. It's not huge so if you have little ones it's ideal. The different gardens have been put together really well. From Italy to Japan to Jurassic loved them all. Naughty jack caught us out too!

The cafe was really nice I had a lovely steak and ale pie and great coffee too finished off with a slice of fresh coffee cake.

Overall a fantastic hidden gem I would recommend you visit.

Accessibility note: not all areas are wheelchair friendly however you would be able to access the majority of not following the one way route.

Absolutely worth the trip out to see. I stumbled across this place by chance on Google while out and about looking for something to od nearby and couldn't be happier with the result. I wonderful series of gardens, all themed with excellent attention to detail. Some interactive attractions and even wildlife are sure to keep the kids entertained. There is plenty for the adults too, though. Beautiful views accompanied by beautiful plants and flowers and intricate displays are sure to excite all plant lovers.

Thoroughly recommend.

Absolutely brilliant afternoon spent here. We had food in the cafe to start with, which is all home made. then purchased our £10 tickets to enter the gardens. What a magical place for all age groups to see. The gardens are spectacularly desined in to themed gardens I.e. Afica, Italian, Japanese etc. They all come with a twist and hidden treasures that will make you laugh, take you back to your childhood and be amazed at the architecture. Very well thought out, I loved it. You can buy vouchers as gifts for your family an friends. There are also Alpaca to see and pedigree chickens, turkeys and a peacock. I will definitely go back again

Marvellous and unique garden room style gardens. Every room is different and unusual and very well thought out. From the dragons lair to Monets garden to the Dinosaur land, all very different. A great restaurant as well , beautifully designed and excellent food.
