I discovered Steel River Gin during the first wave of Covid/Lockdown and have received a monthly subscription ever since! And now the Stockton store is open, I visit often for merchandise as well as different variants of Gin and Vodka. I like to support local, independent retailers, and the team of staff are really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their products.

Went to one of the gin school events with my girlfriend and we loved it, the staff were amazing and super friendly and you could tell they genuinely cared about their brand and product, don't really like gin at all but the flavours in their bottles are perfectly balanced and mixed and took home our own bottle that we made :) big thank you the guys last night and we'll Definitely be buying more stuff in the future

I’m from Middlesbrough but moved away many years ago. When I heard about this place, I had to try for myself! I ordered a bottle online and it arrived quickly. The bottle itself is beautiful with a cool uplight and gorgeous packaging. More importantly the gin itself is delicious and there’s so many flavours to try! Brilliant local business, that I am happy to support regularly.

If you want to try gins with flavours for every mood that have plenty of imagination and a lot of love poured into them, you can't go wrong with Steel River Drinks. Bought plenty over the years and even travelled down from Scotland to have a fantastic tour and Gatsby style night of gin and entertainment. Highly recommended!

Great range of locally produced gin, excellent choice of different flavours and the iconic bottle with a metal flask make them perfect for gifts too!

Fantastic!! I live in Kent and was introduced to steel river by a family member who lives in Middlesbrough. I have been part of the monthly club, the boxes are fab every month. Jay puts so much thought into each one. I have been to the Gin making evening which again was a lovely evening full of surprises. And the shop, although small bursting at the seams with the most delicious gins and a very warm welcome from the staff! Perfect 👌

Fabulous gin and vodka in the most delicious flavours, made in Teesside! I have purchased gin bottles, refill pouches, mini pouches, merchandise such as glasses and I’ve also been a subscriber to their gin clubs. Great friendly service, wonderful inventive products and reasonably priced. What’s not to like?!

What a fab band of folk at Steel River Gin.
My husband and I were not sure what to expect when we went along to one of the gin making nights.
Well,we had a great time with Shaun & Jo guiding us through the different botanicals and the process of making gin before popping into the speak easy for nibbles and music.
New friends were also made that night, which was an added bonus.
As we had such a good night the first time ,we then went again for one of the prohibition nights which was a roaring success.
Thanks guys for all you do to spread the joy of gin.

We discovered Steel River Gin as we do many things during my wife's Facebook scrolling. Most of what she would come across is jokes and recipes. Most of the items and products are themselves 'jokes'. Something about SteelRiver Gin caught her eye, we ordered a bottle as we are gin lovers and 'POW' a great product. We gave the Gin Club and whirl and haven't looked back since. Amazing gins, well presented and always an enjoyable experience with the thoughtful fun monthly boxes. The 'patter' with their personal is friendly and fun too. Our advice, order a tipple and get onboard.

Small independent distillery making unique flavored gins that are anything but run of the mill! Just starting to make Rum and English whiskey.

Great customer service and support. If there are any queries about an order they are quick to respond or to contact you to clarify an issue. There is a good selection of gin all very tasty and make a lovely gift.

Stunning local gin delivered every month to my door! I love the interesting flavour combinations and have had so many good gins that are on a repeat order!
