Many high quality FP's but a good selection across their wide selection. Many are very affordable.

A really lovely pen shop (and stationery, too). I made a special trip over as I wanted to buy a special fountain pen (they are UK stockists for Leonardo Officina Italiana). They just gave me plenty of time to try the pens I was interested in, with no pressure. I must have spent over an hour trying pens and making my choice. The result is that I have a pen that I'm completely happy with and that is a joy to use.

This is where my love for pens started a couple of years ago. The staff are just nothing short of spectacular and a charm to deal with. They have amazing collections and a deep understanding and never try to push you to buy. The amount of care a courtesy they have when they deal with customers is unsurpassed. Makes you feel that you are part of a family.

I flew in to the UK and passed by Shrewsbury and was looking forward to going in. Nothing has changed except the new collections.

This place is what the world needs more local business and need to be supported. I would only buy from them even if I am far away. They can ship anywhere in the world.

Shrewsbury and its history. Writer's such as Mary Webb where I had the honour to meet descendents visiting here who now live in York where other famous writers lived. History is so important to education and beneficial to everyone's future. Taking time to reflect why they write such powerful word's is the reason why I post on my Google timeline. Lovely shop, sells coloured pencils, markers, crayons etc. individually so you can get the colours you want without buying a set, half of which you don't use. Also sketchbooks, paintbrushes, pens and inks of course, and lots more!. Not a huge stock but very well chosen and reasonable prices. Much more fun to shop here than online!

A rare and unassuming gem. Easily the best pen shop in the west of UK and comparable to the excellent service their Cambridgeshire competitor. Bought online from them many times but was a pleasure to finally be able to go in and try a few Sailor and Lamy pens first hand.

Bought a lovely Lamy mechanical pencil. Nice service in the shop, great range of pens for all price points.

Great little shop with a nice selection of cards to choose from (why we were in there). The shop holds cards designed by local artists as well as a large selection of stationary. So if you have any stationionary needs, a pretty card to send a friend, want a journal with a nice cover or just want to get a really nice pen (and ink), this is the place for you.

Great customer service. Had ordered a pen; package turned up but although there was a box there was no pen (obviously been taken out in the shop and not put back in - can see how it happens). I emailed; within an hour I received a phone call, they'd found the pen and it was already on its way to me. Very impressive service. Great selection of pens too!!

This shop fully deserves all of the positive reviews. Brought a fantastic pen from them and allowed me to choose the nib. They also helped me to get a Visconti pen fully repaired. Very friendly service and nothing appears to be too much trouble for the staff. I look forward to visiting the shop next time I'm in Shrewsbury.

Truly wonderful place to shop! A haven of goodies for those who love pens and stationery. Filled with all sorts of notebooks, pens, paints and even some novelty toys to keep the children entertained! What makes this place stand out though is the customer service - I wanted to upgrade my fountain pen but was reluctant to spend a fortune and find that my new pen was uncomfortable and wouldn't get used - however this is of no concern to Write Here! Tell them what you are after, and they will help you find that perfect pen - not just on looks, but actually allowing you to TRY the pen! The lady who served me last weekend spent a considerable amount of time offering advice, and pen after pen, until I finally decided which one I was going to get. No ask was too big, at no point during my visit did she make me feel like I was a pain, asking too much, or that I was boring her and she would rather be somewhere else! From now on, I won't be shopping for pens anywhere else, and it was well worth the 40 minute trip for me getting here! Thank you all!

Who doesn't love a pen shop? Fantastic range with something for all budgets, and staff that are willing to really help. We purchased a cartridge pen for a 12 year old and they were brilliant with their advice.
