Great service by Andy on the saw tonight (27/02/24@ about 6pm, he could not of been more helpful and stayed 20mins after his shift to do our cuts. Great service thank you.

Thanks to Garry who went out of his way today to help us find the correct sized screw for our door knob. Exceptional customer service!

Been to the store yesterday got everything I needed had a great selection of paints and a really friendly person on the till called Stephanie would highly recommend to anybody

I am a person who truly values customer service and the manager Survinder could not be a finer example of customer care.

The fact he does this without consciously thinking about how he can support his customers demonstrates this is a fundamental part of who this man is.

Large DIY store with an excellent garden centre and sells all products for your home. Good staff that are helpful and friendly.

I needed some assistance with some timber work and Dan was really helpful in assisting me with that. His level of customer service was unmatched!

Amazing Staff who are really helpful and friendly. Just for a laugh I nearly got charge £20 for a metre of velcro, as she took the barcode of the main box instead of the price label. After checking again the price was £1.67 per metre. So got my velcro to alter the straps on my pannier. And I say I did a good job. Thanks B&Q.

I'm leaving this review for the management of B&Q Shrewsbury. My mom has one of those days where Dementia affected her more, I was not able to get her to stay in the car while my husband went in to get a cable. Getting her out again was difficult and I was spiralling on the shopfloor to keep an eye on mom, till area and outside, in case hubs was already out. I would like to commend one of your staff, the Indian gentleman, whose nametag I was unable to read due to my spirals. He was exemplary in empathy and service for resolving a simple thing for us; initially, we were not allowed to exit from the entrance gate that beeped at us which was understandable but I was not able to get mom to come along to the exit. The gentleman asked if he can help but I was not able to answer due to what I am dealing with in my headspace. He saw what the issue was and held the entrance gate for us to go through. He was quick to resolve the situation compared to another staff that was already by the gate and watched me spiraled. I truly appreciate the gentleman and his gesture towards us. He is very capable of viewing each issue case by case. Such an 'A' leadership quality.

Came away with samples to try in my property. Lots of choice!! Looked for some lamps also.

Went in looking for a light fixture and a smart doorbell. Both female staff members who helped me were super friendly and able to explain features I needed to look for. Usually I find DIY shopping difficult as a woman, but the staff never once made me feel stupid when I asked questions. Staff seemed to be really happy to work there and were helping making many customers visit easy.

We recently went to the Shrewsbury store and cannot praise the staff enough for their great customer service. We dealt with 4 separate members of staff during our visit and each one was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and helpful. There was a power cut whilst we were in the store and again the staff were calm, informative, polite and helpful.
We had to write this review as my partner and I commented several times during our shopping trip, how great each member of staff was. We will continue to visit the Shrewsbury store for products which is not local for us as we live in Mid-Wales but highly worth the trip. Cannot recommend the store enough!

I find BQ have gone very expensive, on all products I think the reason is they have not got much competition 🤔, I now try the Range and B M first .All retailer's have put prices up there excuse covid although the government helped them out ,and it will be the ordinary person who will suffer and PAY. Just been to BQ after not going for 5weeks no really good offers, its stores like this which help to fuel inflation. I use this place very rarely now

5 stars! Today I went to the Shrewsbury B&Q store for 10 packs of laminate wood flooring, and my entire shopping experience was made stress & hassle-free by Paul (from the Décor department). He went above and beyond in helping me today as this was a rather daunting task for me to accomplish, and he made the whole experience very easy and enjoyable. Thank you Paul. I will be returning again for more of my DIY needs.

Unfortunately I didn't get any names but after my click and collect order was mistakenly cancelled by another store, the team at Shrewsbury were so happy to help, showed me where everything that I ordered was and even helped me load the items onto the trolley and into my van

A solutly love this shop. All DIY enthusiasts probably too... 😊 Massive selection of goods, building materials, lights, electrical components, tools and even full kitchen or bathrooms with fitting makes it great place when you in need to change something in the house and garden. Big outside/garden section with seasonal flowers, trees and all material for finishing your garden. Staff friendly and knokedgeble. Great shopping experience for me. Visiting very often and never been dissapiointed. They deliver too 👍

It has got plenty of stock and 99 times out of 100 you can grab a member of staff.

Always have what I need. Nice and big too so plenty of different things for indoor and outdoor. Also best place for wallpaper at the moment.

We went looking for paint and ended up choosing the mixed paint the 2 individual staff on both occasions, first to get samples and then to buy the selected paint where so pleasant,helpful and chatty it was a pleasure coming here.
