The Vintage Peony Store

It was over 2 years ago I first discovered The Vintage Peony. I was searching for an Art Deco style unit for my kitchen and this wall unit fitted the bill perfectly. I was nervous about having it delivered up to Aberdeen, but Liz made sure everything went smoothly and the unit arrived safely. It’s proved to be a show stopper of a piece that everyone comments on and the excellent quality means it’s still just as perfect as the day we unwrapped it!

After being so pleased with my previous purchase, The Vintage Peony was my first stop when searching for a new unit for my entrance hall. I fell in love with this piece instantly and knew it would be perfect for housing my treasures! I loved it even more when it arrived. Liz has done an amazing job of transforming the bureau; it’s just as beautiful inside as it is on the outside.

And I’ve no idea how I lived without this nest of tables - quite simply my favourite bits of furniture! Super stylish and endlessly practical. Each table has been beautifully and carefully transformed; fantastic paint colour and clever glass inserts that make for easy cleaning.

As I was already having the bureau and the nest of tables delivered, I couldn’t resist adding in this gorgeous blanket box. It’s been lovingly brought back to life and has provided some stylish storage to my top landing! The excellent quality that I’ve come to expect from Liz; beautiful detail and robust enough to withstand my busy household!

Liz was commissioned to bring new life to my Grandmother’s coffee table. Liz, of The Vintage Peony Store, was professional, efficient and communicative throughout the whole process. She was able to help put into creation, what I hoped for. She sourced the piece, prepared it, found the right colours, fabric and paper. The timing was reasonable and Liz was helpful to give pictures and commentary of the different stages of her work. I was very pleased with the end product and hope it might even be passed down to my children one day!

Liz’s work is stunning!

She has brought my old furniture pieces back to life and I absolutely love them both❤. Liz understood exactly what I wanted for my coffee table, and used her incredible creativity on the chest of drawers piece. The work is of such high quality, and there is superb attention to detail – the pieces look even better than in the pictures!

Communication was fantastic all the way through as well – with regular updates on progress.
