Didnt catch the guys name who helped, but couldnt fault them. Called up at 10am with a headset issue, bike fixed by 12am same day. Perfect service. Will be back

This is a truly brilliant independent bike shop, a family business that has been there for many years. Mark is a very good mechanic who I trust with any issue with my or my friends bikes. There is a lot to be said for these types of shops versus the large chains, such as Halfords, there really is no comparison for getting things fixed and maintained properly at a shop like this, plus these local shops are far more worthy of your money than a national chain who are slapdash and don't really have any serious bike mechanics.

Whilst taking my son out for a ride on his bike today through Wimborne and his peddle came off. He was so upset and I couldn’t get it back on. I wheeled it over to Samways and they were so helpful and were able to fix it for him straight away. I just wanted to say a massive thank you for being so kind to my boys and us.

Bought a kick stand for my bike, good range to choose from and cheaper than Halfords. Also asked about electric bikes as we may invest in them fairly soon. Very knowledgeable and helpful, will definitely go back to them when we are ready to buy.

A first class well established family business. Twice now I've called in with bike issues - most recently with a nasty puncture when it was pouring with rain. I arrived pretty much at closing time, yet my puncture was fixed there and then with no fuss, saving me a long miserable walk home in the rain. The other service work done on my bike was first class too, with all issues resolved to my complete satisfaction. Five stars all the way for Samways

I have nothing but nice things to say about this shop. I brought my son's bike frame in with an issue on the bottom bracket thread. Chatted with James and Alex about the various options we could take and then within the week they had sorted a specialist to repair the thread and then they reassembled the crank and checked the alignment (which is an awkward setup) to the rear cog which is now perfect!

So helpful without any sense of "superior bike shop" vibe going on....

As a full time bike rider/ racer, I depend on the best mechanics in my area. Mark and James are quite simply two of the very best I know. They look after a fleet of bikes ranging from Downhill through Cross Country and Road. Their friendly approach to customers really gives the feel of a family run business and it's awesome to see other customers leave with big smiles, the same as I always do! Samways give excellent service, I recently took my road bike in to have some work done on the drive train, it now rides like a new bike. I recommend this bike shop as being outstanding.
