The Cowshed Café

Lovely place to stop on a walk, close to canal. Haven't eaten here but seems to always be full of satisfied people. Coffee nice, service good and friendly.

Great little cafe with lovely staff, good coffee and amazing cakes. The vegan Jaffa cake was something else! Popular with the local mamils, which must mean the cake and coffee are top notch!

What a cute little place hiding away! Beautiful interior with wooden beams. Very helpful and friendly staff. The best afternoon tea we've ever had! Huge pieces of cake! Coffee and tea included! Really nicely lay out with reserved for us on and beautiful tea cups plates and table cloth. All at only £20! All hand made by Emma. Thank you for a wonderful time for my mothers birthday!

Good place to go with friends or family, on a good weather day can sit outside, gets very busy inside, so seating can be limited, didn't have to wait too long for a table, staff very friendly and helpful, little shops on site and antique shops too, was a lovely way to spend your day.

Really great breakfast and such good value for money. All such good quality and nicely presented. Great environment too.

A very interesting place to visit. Good wifi. Good service. Just passing and called in for two coffees, good taste well presented.

So relaxing to sit either inside or outside. While we were there an elderly lady, with a walking frame came alone, the care and attention the staff gave her was heartwarming to witnesses. Bit pricey but definitely worth a visit. Parking can be restricted due to the other wonderful curiosity shops but you usually can find a spot

What a lovely little place and welcoming 😊 took my mom for afternoon tea for her Birthday and O.M.G the food was amazing! And so much of it! staff are super friendly, helpful and go the extra mile to make your stay happy. A big thanku to all at the Cowshed for a lovely afternoon my mom really enjoyed it! And a thanku to Emma who made our afternoon tea 🍵 😋🍰 will definitely visit again in the future! 😃

Lovely cafe, stopped by with a friend for lunch, we sat in the garden as it was a lovely day, nice food. Set at a nice craft centre, well worth stopping by

Hubby and I had cooked breakfast here. It was really good, local produce cooked really well. I had the baby breakfast which was about right for those with a smaller appetite. Service was very quick and efficient too. Would definitely recommend and we'll be back.

A very popular cafe in very pleasantly refurbished farm building serving nice food. Enjoyed a light breakfast and pot of tea. Will certainly visit again next time we pass.

Really lovely place for breakfast, or a sandwich & chips.
Fell on the place by accident. What a great find. Service was good, sandwich was delicious & the chips were hot. Dont find hot chips in most places. Will be returning very very soon. Thank you x

Returned for 2and visit today. Unfortunately the hot chips are no longer on the menu. Disappointing..... still great though x
