Staff was lovely meal hot and not pushy to leave stayed quiet a while as meeting friends had another coffee .

What a lovely surprise this cafe is, straightforward very tasty food. I ordered a bacon and egg sandwich on granary, which was more than enough with two of everything. It was very good indeed. Helpful friendly staff and served quickly. Only thing was its slightly chilly inside, but well worth it.

As a stranger, fast food sandwich, with home made delicious cakes. Hygiene excellent, service in the cafe was good, happy people, good atmosphere. Sells upmarket, jams and pickles, with trinkets on display. Coffee was excellent, with cake to die for.

I went there with my daughter for lunch. The staff were very friendly and there were plenty of choices for my daughter who is vegetarian. The coffee was hot when it arrived which meant it lasted until we had finished eating. This is not always the case in other places. Definitely recommend going here

Great local tea room/cafe that has survived all that the past 18 months has thrown at it. The proprietors deserve their long overdue holiday and will continue to get our support. Well done all!

Had a right dilemma on my hands this morning. Red cafe shut so where in higham does a fry up? Wandered around the high street starving. And came across this hidden gem. Although they dont officially do fry ups they specially put me one together. Staff were friendly. And I had a lively fresh cooked fry up full of flavour. It was delicious. And with a can as well only came to just over £5 it was very sensibly priced as well. Thoroughly recommend for a lively fresh cooked meal in a quiet place. Def will be back.

They ran out of sweeteners for my tea I would have put sugar in, they went out to the co op and bought some. How good is that.

We had some tasty beautifully vegan boxes made especially for us, very friendly staff and accommodating to our dietary needs at an unbeatable value. It made our passing through Higham Ferrers very pleasant.
