Atlantis fish and chips, Cafe & Ice Cream

10/10 Really lovely staff and delicious brekkie that was HOT and fresh!! Didn't have time for an ice cream, so definitely looking forward to going back to try as they looked fab! Lots of flavours to choose from. Would be good to have a Veggie option on the breakfast menu though :).

Simply delicious fish and chips,the batter so light and tasty chips cooked to perfection.Very generous portions sizes. The lunch time Special's between 12-4 pm are fantastic value not only on the fish and chips but a range of meals. If all that isn't enough next door they have an Ice cream parlour with a great range of Mario's Welsh ice cream,so many flavour's to choose from. Take your food down to the Harbour to eat so you can enjoy the lovely views, alfresco dining at it's best.

Absolutely EXCELLENT chips. Lovely crisp batter too.

2023 Update:-
These are the very best chips of any chippy that I have ever experienced. They are the only ones that are constantly better than my own homecooked.

Picked up food for 5 people. Food was freshly made and delicious. The shop was busy but service was good . I can Highly recommend.

Nicest fish n chips I've had for ages. Freshly cooked to order and just how chip shop food should be. Service decent too. Brilliant for a fiver

First time to try last night and judging by the people waiting outside, I had a feeling it was going to be excellent.
Chips were absolutely delicious and the portions were huge, the sausages were cooked to perfection.
Reasonably priced and well worth every penny !
A traditional chip shop serving very tasty food. Will definitely be calling again.

Nice to see it re-opened with new owners. It was always my favourite chip shop when Anne & Barrie had it for many, many years.
Chips were great, really hot & very tasty. Rissoles not quite up to Anne's standard, but they were very nice. Looking forward to trying the fish on my next visit down there.

Best Fish and chips had in Wales by far. Really fresh, great portions and amazing prices. Very friendly welcoming local people. Adjacent to a lovely ice cream parlour under same owner. Located right next to the local train station so it was very convenient to come back from beach, takeaway and hop on to the train to next destination.

Fantastic traditional fish and chip shop. Very well organised, with friendly staff and have to say the fish and chips was one of the best we've all had in a long time. Very fresh and well cooked, with a good range of extras on the menu such as frissoles. They could have put more salt and vinegar on the chips and it would be nice to have ketchup and mayo that you can add yourself rather than sachets but this is still covid times so makes sense. All in all excellent and worth a visit!

So glad to see the old Barry’s chip shop open. It is now run by a new team of staff and the food is fantastic. I have been here a few times and the chips are lovely and crispy. The sausages and nice and tasty. I have also had the chicken curry which was really nice. I love the fact that they ask you when your order contains curry or curry sauce “would you like spicy or mild” I have had both and they were both nice and would recomend either. I have now been there three times this week seen as I have a week off work and the prices are really good value. Highly recommend every to give them a go.

Fantastic fish and chips and reasonably priced too! The lady serving started cooking our portions while we went to get some cash and our food was served up on our return. Wonderfully fresh and not swimming around in oil, yummy!

Tried the breakfast 🍳 today and it did not disappoint 👌 great friendly atmosphere, spotlessly clean and the staff were really friendly and polite. Great value also with a good choice of food and great coffee ☕

Decided to try Alantis tonight for first time. We decided to ride out for tea something we haven't done for a long time due to covid so we very much looked forward to it we weren't disappointed everything we had was delicious and there was plenty. We had fish battered burger and rissoles. All well cooked and tasted lovely. Batter was light and crispy chips were cooked perfectly. Can't fault the food we had, also staff friendly and patient and the whole place was spotless. Will be coming again. Thank you

Nice chips, service a little slow but that's not a bad thing if you want nice food. Need to keep some pies warm though, microwaved pies are just not the same.

Since opening we have always enjoyed this lovely chippy, however recently I have found the chips have gone down hill, I'm not sure if it's the oil or they are just being cooked too long but they are very dark and have a tang taste to them. Cover them in gravy and they are ok but on there own I was disappointed. The staff and cleanliness is still very good...

Revisited 29th Jan.... revisited since my initial review and back on top form. 5star around not just back to excellent quality but again place is spotless. You have managed to sort out the potatoe blip and back to top form ...as I'm typing im digging into a fantastic supper. Thank you.

Lovely food and great service. Placed a large order and one item was left off. They replaced it quickly and comped us a bottle of coke too. Great customer care, thanks guys!

Visited last Saturday for the first time , ordered Fish & Chips and was advised five minute wait as the Fish was freshly fried ,
And it was excellent and tremendous value for money .
