What a gem.

This was our very first transaction in Presteigne. My wife and I stopped off for a hot drink before making the big decision on our new home. The experience here just reinforced that we have chosen the right small town to retire and grow old in.

We agreed the offer on our new home an hour after we left and will be part of this community in a few short weeks. The hot chocolate was outstanding and the sandwich served was scrumptious with all the garnish and extras you would expect from a quality bijou eatery.

The hospitality was more than delightful despite the fact that they are clearly popular and were very busy.

I think we’ve found our regular stopover when we pop into town on the very first visit!

Can’t wait to get to know you folks better and become regulars. Thank you for helping complete strangers feel that they’d come home.

Lovely tea room with a gift shop at the front and a garden at the back. Phone to book a table if you want to sit inside as it is popular. There is usually room outside. I have been here regularly. There are delicious cakes, great hot food / the Thai chicken soup is delicious and the lasagne. I sometimes get food to take away too. The cream teas are amazing too.

This place is a hidden paradise! Through the flower shop, down a step and there you can indulge in their specials or the normal menu. I had a cheese scone with a yummy lentil soup, I loved it!! Wish I'd taken a pic but was too busy eating!!!.
The portions are generous,no one left hungry, and the atmosphere is friendly as are the staff!! Will be back soon!!

Love this cafe food is homemade and delicious. Some different foods on the menu. Have a specials board. We had the Thai chicken soup which was filling as well as tasty. Would recommend.

Beautiful little cafe with garden. Lovely selection of lunches including roasted vegetable platter & a fish platter. Ingredients sourced locally. Well priced & gorgeous little shop at the front with unique gifts & cards which were also very reasonably priced. Friendly staff added to the lovely ambience & there was a good selection of cakes. Everything is made to order so don't arrive in a rush when they're busy, but I much prefer waiting a few mins to eating pre-prepared food. Definitely recommend a visit ❤

Regular visit to this charming T house in Presteigne. Food is always good.

Love meeting up with friends and taking family here. Great little cafe, lovely food and good value. Kid friendly and dog friendly in the summer months as long as you sit in the garden.

Excellent lunch of Thai chicken & vegetable soup followed by home made cake. Both delicious and reasonably priced. Lovely atmosphere with excellent service. Dog friendly as well

Good hearty well cooked food, service great, nice quiet place to eat not having to shout above loud music to have a conversation. Would recommend this place and will be going back. Lovely Cottage Pie and veg.

Delicious lunch of hearty curried lentil and butternut squash soup with a light and fluffy cheese and herb scone.

Excellent veggie quiche, good service and fair price.

Great place to meet friends for coffee and/or a bite to eat. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Nice to browse around the shop for cards and gifts.

Awful experience,asked for a decaf cappuccino and a hot chocolate, both arrived looking good but tasting awful,both were made with water with some milk on the top. I mentioned it to the proprietor,he told me that only water came out of the coffee machine. Water only comes out of the machine if you put only water in,quite aggressive he was. Upon payment my husband tried to reason with him,he said he was indifferent,something that we could not argue with. I can only suggest that the proprietor consults google with reference to a cappuccino coffee,it’s made with steamed and frothed milk, obviously water is free but if you want a proper coffee could I suggest that you try the other excellent cafes in Presteigne,both of which make the coffee and hot chocolate with milk and have a wonderful attitude
