Such a gem of a cafe! Amazing jaffle toasties and the cakes are always incredible. Usually something interesting on the specials board too, last time I had a chicken bun with tarragon mayo. Kid friendly too, with a little toy corner to keep little ones entertained. Love it here 😍

A fantastic independent café in a lovely spot with a beautiful view of the lake and a great vibe inside. So much care and attention has been put into the menu and decor. For a small café they have a remarkable selection of menu items, including cooked dishes. The bacon roll with fried egg is a favourite as well as the jaffles, particularly the mac n cheese one. All quality ingredients. Always a friendly welcome too!

An excellent café/coffee shop. Great coffee and an almost bewildering selection of cakes - Spiced Pear sounded particularly good. As we visited for breakfast we kept to avocado on toast dressed with olive oil and seeds - perfectly fresh and very filling.

A pleasant atmosphere with background music that is kept in the background! My only suggestion for an improvement would be to have pepper grinders on each table rather than pre-ground pepper - but I bet they'll have done that before my next visit...

It's the best café I've found within 20 miles of St Ives and I'll definitely return.

This place is a hidden gem.
I was greeted with a smile as I walked through the door. This busy little cafe had a real buzz as you could see all are welcome from families to couples, with a good selection of brunch things for us to eat. We sat looking out at the lake. From the inside this time but when it’s warmer they have a nice outside area.
I had eggs and my partner had pancakes which was on the special board and both were very tasty. There was also a good selection of home made cakes and cookies to choose from.
I also noticed that they had a fridge with beer and wine which not many cafes offer.
We were looked after by Charlotte and Anne and we could not fault the service.

Love this place. Delicious cakes and great coffee. There's also a play corner for young kids, which is perfect for keeping them entertained while you enjoy a hot drink. Really recommend the banana bread (with espresso and brown sugar cream cheese frosting!!), ridiculously good. Ample parking too.

Had a very satisfying lunch at this cafe.

Stopped by here on a Saturday lunchtime. It was busy, but still managed to get a nice table. The atmosphere was warm and friendly and seemed overall a lovely place.

The savoury food was fresh and tasty, if a little heavy handed with the marmite! Took away some sweets that were also delicious.

Would be happy to go back if ever in the area again.

Love this place. The space is suitable for everyone, family or solo. The food on offer is delicious. They have the best bacon bap, banging cheese toasties and an array of sweet treats. Some real nostalgic vibes with sprinkle cake!

Honestly one of the best cafes around. The banana bread is amazing! You lay out all of your cakes so beautifully. My parents come from Histon to come and visit you as they love your coffee so much and the atmosphere. Thank you so much. I wish I could give more stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

While cycling to the cafe, I could not imagine it would be worth passing Tom's Cakes in St Ives. I was wrong, it was worth it.
Although it was the middle of winter and the outside area was out of use, in summer, it would be lovely as it overlooks a nice lake.
Inside I was greeted nicely and a great display of vittles was laid out. My order was taken quickly. Inside there was a smart but slightly rustic vibe. My food, an almond 🥐 and a sausage roll were delivered in good time as was my café latte. All were excellent.
The prices were a little high, but not excessively given the quality. I will certainly return.
May 2023 - more great vittles. The Cinnamon bun was particularly lovely, 11/10.
July 2023, still great.

Had a lovely sausage & egg bap with a side of tater tots today midway through an 8 mile walk with my hubby. Very busy and there was only 1 table free when we got there on a Sunday morning!
Great food with great service - we will definitely visit again 😊

One of our favourite coffee stops on the bicycle. Awesome selections of cakes and the saussage rolls are very good as well!

Cute little independent coffee shop. Great brunch / lunch menu plus delicious freshly baked brownies, cookies, cakes etc.
Lovely space inside with toys for kids and quiet seating area looking over the water too.
100% recommend!

I still think about this latte and banana bread months later, I just had to leave a review! The loveliest little spot by the lake, it was a bit busy inside when we visited but the view of the lake and crisp autumnal weather made up for it. The banana bread was great and the latte had great flavour and texture. We must visit again sometime soon.

It was a smart decision to get out of St Ives and discover this amazing place next to the lake. We took the avocado toast and the marmite & cheese toasties. Both were so great.
