Excellent place to stay. First of all, the hosts are very friendly and welcoming including a couple of small dogs that are happy to see you.
We stayed in the abbots ripton room and it was lovely and peaceful. The bed is huge and comfortable and the breakfast was very nice. We both had avocado and eggs on sourdough and it was spot on.
I would stay again as you could see it has had money spent on it to furnish the place making it nicer than just a regular room.

Wonderful place with an incredibly friendly owner. Made to feel very welcome and the rooms/grounds are delightful. I stayed in the ‘Great Ouse’ (with metal roll top bath!) and it was beautiful. Quiet, peaceful and charming. Completely recommend to anyone.

Sam is very welcoming and easy to get on with. Nothing to much trouble.

Absolute gem of a property with stunning rooms and warm welcoming owners. The breakfast was delicious, and I certainly am glad I didn't stay at the Marriott. This place is on another level.

We had the pleasure of staying for one night at this beautiful bed and breakfast. The accommodation is luxurious, beautifully maintained with high quality items. The attention to detail is excellent. We received a very warm welcome and enjoyed a lovely full English breakfast. We highly recommend without hesitation and look forward to visiting again very soon.

My girlfriend and I booked a last minute stay to celebrate our anniversary and I'm amazed they weren't booked up months in advance! The room (the houghton) was beautiful. Every little detail has been thought of, the room was very peaceful and quiet. Very friendly owners and staff (and dogs!). Tasty and filling vegan breakfast. We will 100% be coming back.

WOW WOW WOW, what more can I say, we’ll here goes. We were met by Sam and what a wonderful warm and friendly welcome we received. We were shown to our room which I thought wasn’t the one we booked and upon entering Sam informed us we had been upgraded. What an upgrade. We were shown rooms to the right of the house and the right hand side room. This was amazing, a large bed with a bathroom and a lovely large free standing bath. To the right were double doors leading to the garden where two relaxing chairs and a table were on a patio. We were informed that breakfast could be booked by WhatsApp and the breakfast menu was on a table with a couple of chairs.
After a lovely nights sleep we went for breakfast. This was in a lovely dining room. My wife ordered the eggs benedict. She hates runny eggs and had asked for well done eggs. Well they arrived and the eggs were perfect. I had the soft boiled eggs and soldiers. Well took me back to my youth they were gorgeous.
I could go on and on but all in all this was a beautiful place and there is a fishing tackle shop about 5minutes away.
This place is more than the 5 stars you can vote on.
My reason for visiting is that i am having an operation. This is one place you could certainly relax in.

An amazing place for any one to stay

Me and my partner stayed for three nights and loved our trip. The room (Wyton) was lovely and spacious, everything was finished to a high standard and there were some nice extra like coffee machine as well a fridge with bottled water and fresh milk.
The owners Sam and Sonya as well as the other staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. We were there along with a group of other people and they made sure to accommodate us together for breakfasts in the morning. There were also outdoor areas where we could all sit together.

There's actually nothing we could fault with our stay! Eagle mill is beautiful. We stayed in the Hemingford room, which is lovely. Comfortable bed, lovely products in the bathroom, very clean and stylish. Breakfast was freshly cooked by Sam, to perfection! The gardens are amazing, so pretty and peaceful. Sam and Sonia are the perfect hosts, we can'twaittovisit again!

I stayed here in June 21 for my 25th wedding anniversary and again in February 22 for my birthday. The rooms are to an excellent standard which superb attention to detail. The breakfast, made by the host, was also delicious. If I could give 6 stars I would. I will definitely be returning

Stayed here from Boxing day for 3 nights for the first time, One word "Excellent". Clean stylish modern rooms with an outstandingly quality feel. Breakfast was delicious with hosts using high quality local products and accommodating to Gluten free needs. Would definitely stay here again and again. Keep up the good work!

We’ve stayed 3 times, every single time it’s incredible. Hosts always welcoming, he also does the breakfast which is amazing! We’ve been in 3 different rooms each one has a warm feeling to it. We had a private garden in 2 of them which is nice if you want to sit out at night. Have recommended this place to all our friends!

Stayed here last week for two nights in the room Wyton. It was lovely! The room was clean, nice and warm on arrival and the bed was comfortable. Under floor heating is a nice touch, too. The breakfast was tasty, made by the host himself, (even catered to my picky order!) He came down to chat to us both mornings and also gave us some good tips on looking around/getting into Cambridge which was helpful. Will definitely stay here again!!

This is a lovely, clean and family run property with easy access to the nature and historical walks of the region. The room was clean extremely, clean with all the mod cons. It is air conditioned, the bed was really comfortable and large. We had a comfortable sleep as it is really quiet at night. There is a beautiful seating area outside the rooms as well. The place is equally great for families and dogs.

Absolutely fantastic! A wonderful location, fabulous room with a great bath, shower and bed, warm and friendly hosts, and a brilliant breakfast to top it off!
In our opinion, it's the nicest place we've stayed away in England.

Stayed for 1 night for a birthday treat with my girlfriend. Host is very attentive. Room was stunning (Great Ouse). Lovely roll top metal bath, walk in shower and big soft bed. I found the pillows a little firm for my liking but that personal taste. Breakfast was well cooked and big pot of coffee
