Just wanted to say how lovely the staff are in this store. Very polite, smiley checkout assistant but even more so the young man (William, I think) who was so helpful and gave me excellent advice about using T-cut. He definitely went above and beyond to help me - thank you!

A lady called Teresa fixed the chip on my windscreen and did a fantastic job…..absolutely brilliant. Also all the staff at Halfords Hemel Hempstead were polite, engaging, helpful and incredibly professional. It’s a resounding 10 out of 10 from me……excellent in every way.

Went today for a windscreen chip repair. Was not initially optimistic but having read many positive reviews decided to give it a try. Very happy with the result and much cheaper than the well known alternative company. However, I don't recommend the number plate service as they only do metal ones now and the top layer film easily comes off after a few months (even if they gave me a free replacement - the acrylic ones last 10+ years).

I have just been down to Halfords to get windscreen wipers fitted on my daughter’s car and a short time later to get a new battery fitted to mine, I was given a fast and very good service. Excellent customer service and a big thank you to the manager for sorting out a problem I had with an earlier purchase.

I recently bought a new car stereo system & had it fitted at Halfords. Dylan was excellent & did a great job, taking the time to show me exactly how to connect my phone after the fitting. He was very helpful & did a great job. I can highly recommend Halfords.

Went to get the headlight for my car and asked for it to be replaced (as for a Mondeo it's a tricky job), but the chap that did the work found that the bulb wasn't faulty (just loosely fitted). Amazingly I wasn't charged anything for the work done! Well done Halfords!!

Great service today. I went in today to get a replacement wing mirror and lightbulb and the two people I spoke to couldn’t have been more helpful. The gentleman at the back desk made sure I got the correct wingman, the one I needed was a bit bigger than standard - thank you :-) Harry who changed my bulb for me was also great and I wouldn’t hesitate in coming back.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Reasonably priced for a larger retail store. Nice range of quality products. Can be a bit of a nightmare to find parking during peak times but this is no fault of Halfords. I would recommend this store.

Very speedy and courteous service even though I didn’t prebook. Both rear brake bulbs replaced and I was on my way in under half an hour. I will definitely use again in the future.

Booked my eBike in for a silver service and spoke repair. When the technician inspected the bike he decided it didn't need a service and refunded the cost. Nice to see that there are still some honest people in the world..... Also worthentioning, excellent communications I'll definitely be bringing it back when it does need a service..

I went in for some bulbs, which I wanted fitted on my car. Tereza was hugely helpful, identifying that the problem was not the bulbs but the unit which, as she showed me, had been damaged by water ingress (over some time) and the wiring was rotted away. The car needed a new unit which unfortunately they didn't stock but she told me where I would be able to get one, She also helped me identify an issue with a headlight. She was courteous and cheerful and extremely helpful. An oddly excellent service!

I ordered a rear wiper blade on-line (plus fitting), but when I went to collect it the wrong part had been delivered. However, staff member Theresa searched on her computer; discovered that they did not have it in stock; searched other local car-parts suppliers; found one nearby who had it in stock. I went and collected it, and she fitted it for me immediately. Very impressed with the customer service

From beginning to end, Karo gave excellent customer service, she was very courteous and she has a very positive attitude. She helped me choose the right windscreen wipers and explained how to fit them as that have a slightly different clips to the originals, I would highly recommend anyone to visit Halford Hemel Hempstead to keep your car maintained, thank you so much Karo. I collected my bike from Halfords Hemel Hempstead today and had an exceptional experience, all thanks to Peter. He ensured that my bike was appropriately assembled, explaining every detail along the way. There were adjustments to be made and he did them patiently. Peter went the extra mile to ensure that I was comfortable and confident with riding my bike. I highly recommend his helpful and friendly service. Thank you, Peter, for going above and beyond!

Excellent service from Charlie from start to finish! Everything was explained in detail and he was obviously very knowledgeable in his role. On arrival back at the store just a few days later to collect the bike, Charlie was just as polite and talked through what repairs had been done. Credit to the store. Well done Charlie!
