Popped by a couple of days ago and had the most wonderful Cream Tea - freshly made scones, warm and moist - they were absolutely perfect. Would definitely head back - maybe trying one of their themed evenings.

Went here a few years ago and loved it. Still as good, though missed the glass teapots (such a good idea)!
Lovely cream tea, freshly made scones, choice of jams and clotted cream. Very nice new owner. Great ambience. Recommend this on a trip to Chagford

Lovely tea room. We had tea and scones, well worth it. Big, warm and tasty. Two jams from local source. Proper clotted cream. Accessibility is limited, due to age of building.

Lovely place. Had homemade soup with sourdough bread followed by fantastic apple pie and clotted cream. Good coffee too. Would recommend. Two of us.

A lovely, cosy, little café which offers delicious lunch options in a casual setting. We tried the soup of the day (leek & potato), chorizo hash, and scones. All were fantastic, and made for a hearty lunch. Would love to visit again!

Just had an amazing Smoked Mackerel Hash with a glass of the house red... absolutely brilliant choice.
Excellent food and wine.

A cafe with friendly and welcoming staff. The creme tea had the lightest, fluffiest scones we've had during our stay in the south west

Our official favourite cream tea venue, by far. Melt-in-the-mouth scones warm and fresh out the oven, with incredible jams on the side. We cannot get enough! We will eventually try the other food but it’s too hard to resist a cream tea there. Lovely family owned place with great service and atmosphere.

This is a lovely spot for a coffee, bite to eat or a cream tea, I had them all! Great food and friendly service in a very cute setting. Would highly recommend.

Two of the group had cream teas while the third had a full English. The scones for the cream tea weere warm and so soft, the cream really thick and the 3 different jams all delicious. The diner eating the full English commented that it was amazing and the best sausages she'd had in ages.

A very nice place for lunch or a cream tea. Had a choice of jams available and refills of jam/cream as required. Scones were a good size and very tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful. May be a good idea to book in advance if trying to go during peak lunch hours, to avoid disappointment.

Last minute breakfast stop prior to walking up Meldon Hill and it was spot on! Very welcoming, great veggie breakfast, good price and cosy setting. Was a nice touch with some flyers around to learn a bit more about Chagford. I’d deffo visit again if I’m the area!

During our recent visit to Chagford myself and wife were delighted to use this superb café on two occasions. The staff were warm and welcoming, the tea was served using proper cups and saucers and leaf tea. The traditional cream tea with scones, cream and jam was magnificent. I would definitely return and recommend to all.

Had the full English and was beautiful. Very high quality and generous portion. Could tell the eggs were very fresh and loved the toast came with the option of jam and marmalade. Tried the jam and was extremely tasty. Wished I asked where it came from. Lovely coffee and cakes looked amazing!

Excellent friendly service, prices, quality and quantity, there was nothing to fault. Very tasty, locally sourced produce at town centre cafe prices. Highly recommended, we will be eating there again. Thank you. 😃

Awesome food in a safe environment- the menu choice was great. The tea cakes were some of the best I have ever had. My wife's French toast with poached eggs and sorento ham was equally amazing- you will not be disappointed!!
