This is our favourite local pub. It is friendly and we love the staff. Members of our family have stayed here on occasions and the rooms are comfortable and clean

I would highly recommend this B&B for a short stay. It is nothing grand but we received a very warm welcome and shown to our room. It was all that we needed for our over night stay. Warm,comfortable and very clean. Although over looking the main road through Southwall it wasn't noisy. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome and Emma,the landlords wife,even dropped us off at Norwood Park where we were going because we couldn't get a taxi which was above and beyond. Great place. Thank you again to all at reindeer for making our stay so pleasant.

Popped in for a quick late afternoon drink. Lovely lady at the bar, immediately creating a comfortable and reassuring atmosphere.
The beer was excellent - Fullers London Pride - clear as a bell and perfect temperature. My wife was also delighted with her glass of old rosy cider.
A great pub, nice atmosphere even when nearly empty.
Highly recommended.

A nice quiet 'local' with a couple of good beers and a chilled out homely vibe...
Loved it more as it is what it is and isn't trying to pander to the hipster's (IE no funky decor or silly over priced drinks)

My Wife and I accompanied my Brother in Law and Sister in Law on our first visit to this Public House. The well kept ale and relaxed nature of this pub, made for an enjoyable couple of hours. It appears to be favoured by locals and enables relaxation. I look forward to returning in due course.

The owner and the resident manager were really helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble we spent four nights and will stay there again. The Friday night curry was great. The room was well prepared and spotless

The owners were so lovely helped by moving there car for us to park outside arrived earlier we were here for a wedding.The rooms were lovely and clean good showers beds comfy.

It was a lovely stay here, the area is great and it was very convenient to have a pub 15 steps away. They have a nice outdoor seating area and that staff is very friendly.

My only very very tiny issue was the Wi-Fi was very weak in the room we stayed in and the owner could do with a repeater to boost the signal to the whole establishment.

We stayed here on our way to York, very small B&B but clean and cheerfull, very friendly staff, good collection of Real Ales and very friendly crowd in the Pub; just next door to Minsters and not far from Nottingham as well. Overall our experince was very good, we had a nice cooked English Breakfast and the shower in the room was great, good sleeping and very quiet. We enjoyed our family stay. We will come back again.

I stayed 2 separate nights here at The Reindeer Inn. The staff where incredible ! nothing was a problem! Rooms immaculate ! Even better when i arrived for the second night i was surrounded by warm music played by the locals on guitars! Beautiful place best staff ! Book direct with them !

This B&B is just next to Minsters, on Westgate just next door to Southwell town centre. The excellent service was provided by the staff. The rooms are spotless and well decorated and the B&B is in a lovely location, with plenty of eating place near by. Nice selection of Real Ales downstairs in the Pub. We had a lovely time. Thank you very much Sam for looking after us. We will be back soon and would recommend.

Very clean, basic only stayed one night, en suite, very friendly and helpful staff, small bars area warm and friendly, great location for centre of town, guests at a local wedding venue.

Stayed in B&B for 4 nights in The Reindeer Southwell; Good location, just 100 metres from Minsters church & town centre. They have got very good selection of real ales and good quality pint..spend evening in the pub with local punters; cool nice atmosphere..very friendly and relaxing.
Staff was very helpful and friendly..always smile on face!!! great..no hassle..
Breakfast was good, choice of full english & continental..
Facility to play dart & domino with a pint after long stressful working day..
Good food served at bar, home made food @ good price..
Thursday and saturday was Curry night...
The best curry I've ever had in my life...:-)
Overall experience was wonderful...

Landlord is very pleasant man. We had a good night stay. We enjoyed cask ales. We will be back again.

-just one problem!...super fast kettle but how do you fill it with water easily, had to use mug which is very slow and messy...or am I being a muppet...
