Always our first option to eat when coming to the town centre. Bear in mind it is cash only. I appreciate the food, breakfast is tasty, not greasy, and you can actually taste the flavours. Friendly staff too! Always forget to take the picture of the food 😂 because always eager to start eating!!!

Fantastic local cafè in Basingstoke. When I went there I had scrambled egg on toast which was delicious, the mug of tea was weak (I like my tea strong). Fantastic friendly staff and service. Mr Munch is a real community feel establishment. Highly recommended.

Mr Munch is one of those rare finds in Basingstoke - an independent, family-run business in the centre of town. The food is always fresh and tastes fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble, and the staff are very friendly and efficient. This is easily one of the best cafes in town - if not, THE best..

I have loved it here for as long as I can remember.

Went in there today with family and they really put the effort in. my Mum has an allergy to tomatos and wanted a salad. They came out and asked what she would like in it and instead of putting the tomatos in it they added some other bits as extra.

I have been going here since I was like 5 and I think it's the only place that I have never had a bad experience with. Legit would recommend to anyone.

I was going to write is alright like I usually do, but the staff were really friendly and the food was gorgeous. I only had a small breakfast. Which is quite reasonably priced. If you ask for a mug of tea though. Make sure that you ask for a strong one or you'll get cats pee.

Visited Mr Munchies today with my son, his friend and her Mum. The staff were brilliant, friendly and couldn't do enough. Lovely food. Thank you to the staff. We will visit again. 😊😊

This cafe has been going for years, and I've been a customer also for years. Its a lovely, very clean place, with attentive helpful friendly staff, and table service. Menu is as expected, with some new additions to keep up with the times. Food is always good quality, tasty and generous portions. Recommended

As a child I always remember coming here and being treated to a meal. And other than the decor you could go in there today and feel like nothing has changed, There’s such a retro feel to this place but its refreshing. It’s always been the same system and you always get table side Service from happy staff members. The food itself has a classic cafe taste and nothing beats a mean fry up that they do. Always happy to go there if someone suggests it for lunch or a coffee and they’re always welcoming.

Lovely food but you need to get the front door fixed as it’s open most of the time and the food gets cold.

As always, I am met with a smile, and a warm hello. The food is always freshly cooked, and to a high standard. Portion size is good, and value for money. One of Basingstokes 'point of interest' and long may it remain part of the town.

Found this gem of a cafe yesterday while at Basingstoke festival of transport. What a lovely place friendly staff, great food, all freshly cooked, would highly recommend it definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area👍🏻

Plain and simple but something for everyone. Proper, tasty meals at prices less than the majority of fast food outlets. Not had a bad meal here and nothing is too much trouble for them.
