Just popped in with a wine style (an NZ Red) in mind. They had it and excellent range, so I brought another from the same vineyard. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Also accepting of my well behaved child who was with me. Steady stream of customers on a Saturday afternoon so must be doing something right.

This is rather a special wine shop, helpful knowledgeable staff with well chosen wines. After years of searching ( hard but good work that ! ) for a good house wine, I found two here as well as a few for more special moments.

Been in a few times now, always an enjoyable experience. Really knowledge staff who run it, they provide great recommendations and don't just try to flog you the most expensive. Keep it up.

About Hertford
Town in England

Hertford is the county town of Hertfordshire, England, and is also a civil parish in the East Hertfordshire district of the county. The parish had a population of 26,783 at the 2011 census. The town grew around a ford on the River Lea, near its confluences with the rivers Mimram, Beane, and Rib. The Lea is navigable from the Thames up to Hertford. Fortified settlements were established on each side of the ford at Hertford in 913 AD. The county of Hertfordshire was established at a similar time, being named after and administered from Hertford. source
