Lovely place to have a dip in the lake, quite place. Dog friendly.

Nice quiet place, we went in the evening and there wasn't anyone else there. The walk to Lake was also very beautiful.

This is my favourite place in the world, boat hire available, places to sit and enjoy the silence or just quietly contemplate life, loads of pretty tame wildlife, amazing views, fairly often you will see fighter jets fly by, take a picnic and a chair and relax

Really enjoyed it. Couldnt fine a path down that wasn't private until I found this. Nice walk down to the Lake and a great place to let the kids jump and swim in Windermere.

Very relaxing to just sit by the shore and watch people swimming and messing about in boats. Quintessential lakes experience.

Excellent place to go for a bit of SUP boarding. Nice and quiet with great views.

Great place to go for a swim (but if you have some swimming / wet shoes, you will need them) as the pebbles in the water start to hurt otherwise!
Can get busy as it's a popular spot, but don't let that put you off.

Great place to swim, a few nice "beach" style entry points to the lake and a pier/jetty. There is a place to hire kayaks/paddle boards. It was not crowded when we went. Parking is in a layby (near Queen Adelaide's Hill pin on Google map) off a busy road (Rayrigg road) then a short walk down a path through woodland to the shore. Stunning backdrop to the lake

Beautiful little walk, short and easy with spectacular views.

Enjoyed a lovely swim here this morning, lovely views and not to busy. Was difficult to leave the water for a bit as a big dog off its lead took a dislike to me or my pink buoy but we got ashore in the end.

A nice place near Windermere town centre, which gives you a great view of the lake. The walk is easy and the view is great.

It was a very calm place with a cool wind. You can do boating here by bringing your own canoe.

If you want to swim and enjoy the lakes, this is the place.

A little hidden gem, great spot to view the sunset!!
