I'll always pop in to this deli if I'm in Newent. Perfectly located, brilliant selection of cheeses and deli items, delicious lunch options and the BEST brownies to take home!
Run by the loveliest people, it's always a delight.

The Runcible Spoon is an absolute delight. Fab food - including a lovely deli selection - and wonderful friendly staff, in a cozy sweet atmosphere. The monthly supper club dinners are especially special - such a treat. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Fantastically friendly and great quality food and drink. We stopped off mid bike ride on a hot and they offered to fill our bottles without having to ask. Will definitely go back if we are passing through again

What a find! Friendly, cosy atmosphere with delicious homemade food and great coffee. The waitress was absolutely lovely. My partner is coeliac and there were lots of gluten free options to choose from too.

P.s. the cheese scone was the best I've ever eaten 🤤 Definitely recommend!

First visit today and what a great visit it was!
Gluten free brownies to for and gluten free water biscuits from the deli section. We enjoyed two delicious cappuccinos watching the world go by outside and took home two stonking local cheeses to enjoy over the weekend. We look forward to returning to checkout the local art which is soon to be exhibited and anticipate another very warm welcome from the new owners 😊

Delicious home-made food (had quiche and salad followed by a huge piece of victoria sponge) and lovely staff. Great deli too, we’re looking forward to sampling our Jolter Press cider this evening!

My partner and I visit this local cafe multiple times a week. The coffee is delicious, as is the takeaway food and there is a great range of local cheeses. The staff are very friendly and chatty, and always make you feel welcome. Best place to visit in Newent by far.

I love this deli/cafe! Small, friendly and it’s open a little longer than others. Home cooked produce, good coffee and pots of real tea. Clean too. A special mention to the lovely waitress. This is the place I will revisit when next in Newent.

My friend and I popped by today, and had the breakfast pancakes, topped with beautifully tender, warm spiced plums, and Greek yoghurt: it was perfect autumnal sweetness. And a lovely warm welcome from friendly staff - we’ll definitely be coming back!
