I dealt with Ruth and Lara both of them were very helpful, very efficient and knew their products.
We ordered new material to have our sofa reupholstered, it turned up quickly and now sofa looks fabulous.

Lovely showroom! Lara greeted me in the showroom and was very knowledgeable of all the different sofas and fabrics, her advice was super helpful!

We visited the Hertford shop and were delighted by the range of sofas and the fantastic customer experience. Aimee was phenomenal in her attentiveness and in her knowledge of all the Darlings product ranges. She was extremely professional and not at all pushy, providing expert and honest advice. The large hanging swatches of all fabric options made it super easy to decide on our final sofa. Would highly recommend Darlings in Hertford.

We went along to the St Albans branch back in March, after I found the company online. We were warmly greeted by Aimee, the store manager. She was very inviting, professional and extremely knowledgeable. We spent about an hour in the store with my 9 year old son, who was well looked after! The delivery was a long 12 week wait, but definitely worth it. The sofa we chose, which is huge looks amazing and is so comfortable. All our neighbours and friends have sofa envy. If you are looking for a quality, hand made sofa I would definitely recommend Darlings of Chelsea. They are not cheap but will last a long time!!

We met a really lovely, patient and helpful assistant in the St Albans branch. We were kept updated about progress regarding delivery and the piece arrived precisely when expected. Most importantly the sofa is exceptionally comfortable. The delivery men were also charming.

Finally, a few days after we paid for the sofa the price was reduced. When I phoned the store and informed them they duly matched the new price.

Really impressed with the range of options in the showroom, the advice from the assistant, the help we received and the whole process from start to delivery of our new sofa. Arrived much quicker than we expected - really really pleased and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We visited the St Albans store to review the leathers available for a sofa that we had seen online. We were met a by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable lady who talked us through our initial choices and made a number of recommendations that we had not previously considered. Her entire approach was professional and friendly, and made what may could have been an arduous task remarkably easy. It is both refreshing and reassuring to find someone who still has what is now an "old school" approach to customer care. The email exchange that followed regarding our order was handled impeccably; all of our queries were answered promptly and courteously.
