Don't be put off by first appearances when you walk in as the service and food is amazing. Really great pub food at good value. I had the home made steak pie which was great and my daughter had the BBQ burger which was massive and really tasty. Would really recommend a visit.

I met up with some friends here so can only comment on the bar area. A lovely old building which is well maintained and has friendly and helpful staff. Situated in an ideal place to cater to people who want to explore the beautiful surrounding area. Drinks and food were good value for money.

They were able to accommodate our last minute booking of 10 despite already having a large booking of 13 at a similar time (we had phoned multiple places and kept getting turned away!) Food was fantastic and great value. The pie and mash was amazing!! Dog friendly too! Thank you again.

Food and drink both lovely.
The lass who looked after us couldn't have been nicer, absolutely bent over backwards to look after us and our dog!
Owner was a really nice man, and the place had a wonderful cosy, relaxed feel!

Lovely new owners! James in particular was really great, he made space for my family of 10 and the entire staff team provided great service throughout our visit. The food was really nice, the perfect pub lunch! Would highly recommend and would definitely visit again.

Stopped for Sunday lunch after visiting the castle and googling dog friendly pubs nearby. The staff were friendly and our 3 course meal was delicious home cooked fayre at a really reasonable price. Will definitely go back when we visit the area again.

Went for tea with Santa 2night, what can I say brilliant service, lovely friendly staff, food was good too, nothing was too much trouble.
We were shown to our table, drinks ordered with food & brought to us straight away.
The Santa was lovely, kids had a present off him & pictures by the fire.
Crafts & colouring at the table & selection of sweets.
So glad to have a lovely pub back open in town again.
Well done guys keep up the good work 👍 👏 ❤

Was camping in Broome and my friends and myself went for a meal here. The meal was excellent we all enjoyed it and at reasonable prices. The draught Guinness was just right had to stop myself from having too many. The staff was really friendly and helpful, dog friendly. Highly recommended.

Recently under new management and much better for it. New menu just out.
Good food and decent real ale. Hopefully they'll expand on the ale choice in the future.
Friendly staff. Will definitely return.

Friendly staff, comfortable bed, nice and clean. Only criticism - ensuite a bit chilly at first! Good pub food, all very reasonable rates - excellent breakfast. Highly recommended if you are on a budget but like comfort.

Chose the Stokesay Inn as our base for a week's walking on the Shropshire Way. The mixed group of nine were delighted with the home made food, the refurbished rooms plus very attentive staff and a happy, affable manager, James. We would happily return. Thank you.

Stopped by here on the way back from Mill Valley and had a lovely dinner and some pints in the beer garden. The owner was kind to us, the service was great, the locals were friendly and the homemade lasagne I had was awesome.

We had a lovely stay. Food was great, both lunchtime and breakfast. The deluxe room was such a great price for a lovely room. Great welcome and nothing a problem. Would definitely stay there again.
