Sutton Court House & Holiday Cottages, Nr Ludlow, Shropshire

We had a lovely stay at Woodsage. The cottage was beautifully appointed and very comfortable with lots of little extras which showed how committed Lisa is to her guests' comfort. We were made very welcome and there was a lovely, relaxed feel. Lisa has put her heart and soul into these cottages and her warmth and friendliness added a lot to our holiday.

We stayed for 3 nights in Holly cottage late July 2023 for a wedding held nearby, prior to our stay Lisa was brilliant with her communications and confirmations, on arrival Lisa greeted us and showed us around the cottage. Honestly it was beyond our expectations! The complimentary wine, OJ, eggs, bread etc was a lovely, the cottage itself was immaculately clean and very well presented. Lisa was an excellent host, even kind enough to provide a lift back to the wedding venue to collect our car the day after.
On leaving she provided a tray of fresh eggs (all double yokers!) which was a lovely send off. 5 stars all round and would 100% recommend. Thank you Lisa!

We stayed at Sweetbriar Cottage and were extremely impressed. The owner was welcoming and had left coffee, tea, milk, bread, wine for us. All facilities were of a very high standard and we enjoyed family meals in the large kitchen.
Internet and phone reception were a little problematic as was finding the place (our friends did not use Sat Nav and got lost in the country lanes). 15 minute drive into Ludlow.
An overall excellent experience. We would love to come back.

We booked all the cottages for our family and friends to stay during our wedding in August. The cottages are beautifully decorated and well-equipped, and Lisa the owner is so lovely. She made sure that everyone had a comfortable and pleasant stay. We had really positive feedback from our all guests and we would definitely book them again.

We stayed as a large family group (18 of us) to celebrate a special birthday. The cottages are of a very high standard with everything you could possibly need for your stay. The little touches like tea, coffee and sugar and bathroom products being provided were a lovely thought. Lisa is always on hand with any questions or queries you may have. We loved using the community room and the kids loved the games room. I would definitely recommend these cottages, we would love a return visit in the future.

Recently stayed at this wonderful holiday cottage as a family group of 22. The cottages were fabulous, the games room kept the children entertained and the log fire was perfect. All the details were great from a basket of fresh eggs from the farm to the wonderful magazines and books to read by the fire. A very cosy stay, wish we could have stayed longer! Lisa went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and enjoy our stay, thank you!

We had a wonderful weekend stay (4 adults, 4 children and a dog!). The cottages were of a very high standard and spotlessly clean. The kids enjoyed the games room and of course the surrounding countryside. Ludlow is less than 15 mins away by car and there are plenty of great pubs and restaurants to choose from. We have already booked to return in the summer!

Lovely cozy accommodation oozing character and charm. The units appear to be converted from old farm buildings and have a wealth of exposed beams. They have well equipped kitchens, TV with DVD player and decent sized rooms. There is a room housing free WiFi and washing machine with games room upstairs which has plenty to keep children of all ages occupied. My 3 loved the snooker table which cleverly flips over to reveal a quality air football table. There was a decent selection of books and DVDs available to borrow. The owners are really nice people with lots of recommendations for days out in the local area. It's in a very quiet area around 15 minutes from Ludlow. Thoroughly recommended and I would love to return again in the future.

Absolutely brilliant complex of cottages. Very well kitted out kitchens, lots of tourist information available as well as a brilliant games room. The communal area was brilliant for large groups to meet up and socialise. Friendly and helpful owner, too. Would fully recommend to anybody.

We've been staying here for over 10 years now. Facilities great,, lovely, clean, relaxing. What more can you ask for. The new hosts are really nice and we arrived to wine and a full fresh fruit bowl. *****

We have had holidays since the barn conversion was done many years ago and continue to go most years for a break. The new owners two years now, have modernised the cottages and to quite a high standard very good. We always enjoy our breaks and will continue to do so.

Just come home from a lovely weekend away at this beautiful place. A group of us occupied all the cottages and all agreed that they are stunning. So well equipped, nothing lacking. The games room and communal room were fabulous, we were able to enjoy time together and the kids could play pool, air hockey etc. just below us. The cottage itself was absolutely spotless. Kitchen was fab with all you need including a dish washer. For those who needed it, there was a washing machine and a dryer in the games room. Toiletries provided in the bathroom as were dishwashing and clothes washing detergents.
Lisa and Gareth were fabulous hosts. They were on hand if we needed anything without being intrusive. All in all a highly enjoyable experience and definitely recommended.

Well furnished self-catering accommodation in tastefully converted stable blocks around the old farmyard at Sutton Court. Great location for a break exploring Shropshire.
