Cafe Ambio

Lovely staff, Great surroundings & The "Eggs Ambio" was 👌 *chefs kiss*.

Actually the food overall was surprisingly excellent, although with a touch on the pricey side, not what I expected from a "cafe" like set up, but taste and quality wise, pretty impressive on both beef and chicken burgers 👍 dog friendly too for the wooferoos, staff were super helpful and great with our 5 year old daughter 👌 Recommended to stop by

Lovely root veg soup, fresh bread, sausage roll and coffee's, perfect after an MTB ride around Grizedale forest 😋

Visited 23/8 and was greeted by a very helpful young man called max. I had my two granddaughters with me and he was fab. When we came to ice cream he suggested one portion in two pots which meant that was sufficient for a 2 year old and and an 8 year old …without waste …. ! And wasted money so a big shout out for Max excellent customer service 👏👏

Super for families and dogs, something for everyone, freshly prepared and delicious. And great for coeliacs!

Good coffee and cakes :) little too expensive

The cakes don’t have prices on…so you know it’s going to be bad. I get inflation, but Ambio crosses the line between fair pricing and price gouging. From the language used (regular (large), or small (regular) coffee?), to the portion sizes, you feel like you’re being ripped off. For all the song and dance made about the produce, I’ve eaten better locally for 40% less, and the coffee tasted over extracted. I guess having a captive audience means this doesn’t matter.
