Water Park Lakeland Adventure Centre

Took a school group here and they had a wonderful time. The accommodation is fantastic and the grounds are lovely. Staff were very good and the activities were well organised.

I loved it, I didn't want to leave. Ngl but I actually was crying as soon as it was time for me to go an I don't even cry, I will be comin next year. I wish I could just come down anytime. Everyone is nice an kind there. I felt very welcome, I loved every second and wish I could go back NOW.

I can't wait till next year, I know that I was only there for a few days but it felt like home.

What a stunning place to visit the Grounds and Home was delightful we were welcomed to the Water park and enjoyed paddlesports with loads of kids adults and families and they all had a Great time. Thank you for the warm welcome and delicious food too!

I've stayed here quite a few times with high school and young peoples services it's a gorgeous place the house is always clean and tidy and the activities are always amazing. Staff are friendly and helpful and just amazing. I definitely recommend it.

Thank you to all the fantastic staff, I had a great week! I hope to be back next year as had a brilliant time! Would highly recommend to enjoy the water activities the Lake District can offer!

I love this place. I came here for a residential with other service users and volunteers from Galloways. The staff here are absolutely fantastic and incredibly supportive to those who are visually impaired. I cannot recommend them enough and can’t wait to come back next year to try more new things. Some of the things I did was canoeing, kayaking, ghyll scrambling, high ropes and two walks. I am also deaf and they were fantastic at communicating with me when I couldn’t wear my hearing aids in/by water.

This was the latest of many visits to Water Park. Our school has brought children for half day visits in Year 1, to full day visits and to week long residential by Years 4, 5 and 6 for many happy years. The venue is sublime, the accommodation perfect, the instructors and staff wonderful. The way the instructors adapt according to the needs of the group is always amazing, and the experience, the personal growth for the visitors, is priceless. Add in the astonishing generosity of the Eric Wright Trust... Superlatives fail.

Absolutely amazing. I couldn't recommend this Place highly enough. I have been taking groups of children here 2 or 3 times a year for the fast 15 years. The staff are wonderful and will adapt any course to meet your needs. Just simply brilliant!

Great place, staff great under present circumstances, fun packed full day, all equipment and clothing provided and tea was excellent and plentiful. Super place for school kids to appreciate the great outdoors 👍

Very difficult for coaches but finely got here wow needs some street lights and make sure you download the directions for coaches or you will find your self stuck thankyou to the staff for there knowledge and helping me out greatly recieved
