I spoke to Sam about what I needed and he sent me an invoice , I was happy with the quote. Today I took my PC and Lattop to be upgrade. I met Mark and I went away feeling that they can do there magic. Just like to update you guys (Sam,Mark and the guy in Carlisle) the difference that you have made. Amazing! Paid to have my CPU upgraded on a Saturday. Monday morning I get a call to say it had been done. I also inquired about a new GPU and the amazing staff at DTec gave me a list of GPU's with prices. Big thanks to Mark and the team at Dtec!

Excellent service. First time I have used this company, they helped me out with two laptops with issues. They were polite, friendly, straightforward and honest. No computer speak that I couldn't understand. Sorted the problems, completed work on schedule, very reasonable charges. Would definitely recommended them and would use them again.

My laptop was making whirring noises coming from the fan - first time visiting DTec, but spoke to a guy called Mark who managed to fix the problem the same day as I needed it for work. He did order a new part but just kept it in store in case after a week or so it started whirring again, but two weeks now and the silence is still golden! Great service, honest, friendly and efficient, and I would have no hesitation in recommending !

So impressed with this company. I first used them about 18 months ago when the motherboard on my PC decided not to work. This was resolved with efficiency so, when my PC died this morning due to the power supply unit deciding it had had enough, my first call was to DTec.

I live about an hour away so popping there and back to drop off and collect my PC is inconvenient. I mentioned this to the chap over the phone who said that they would see what they could do. I didn't arrive there until about 2.30 but, just two hours later, it was fixed and ready for me to take home.

And it's not like they weren't busy and I was their only customer of the day! Their benches were full but they squeezed me in and obviously took into account the distances I would have to travel so worked with speed and efficiency. They even had a chance to up-sell me as I mentioned that I could just buy a new PC from them - after all, if they had said they couldn't fix it, I wouldn't have known any better - so they are clearly very honest as well.

I couldn't be more pleased. Within half a day of my PC dying, it was fixed. Fast, efficient, honest, cheap, good components, professional. Pick any positive, glowing adjective from the ether and apply it to DTec, I am sure it would apply.

And if anyone from DTec reads this, sincerely, I really do appreciate you going that extra mile. THANK YOU.

I took my poorly PC in to DTec in Penrith last week and the customer service has been excellent - great advice from Mark and Geoff, both of whom really know what they're doing. Doesn't look like my PC can be saved and they were concerned to make sure I didn't throw away my money on expensive repairs which might not work - I'm really pleased at how helpful they were and how they rang me regularly to give me updates.

Excellent service. Extremely knowledgeable and very quick. Prices fair with no charge where no problem found even though time spent looking.

A quick phone call to check stock was all that was required, half an hour later I picked up a set of printer cartridges. Great price. Thanks

Travelled to Penrith to arrange for a flashing of my BIOS, after I was sent a motherboard online with a BIOS too old to work with my Ryzen 5. Called at 9am, sorted by 11am the same day for just over £20. They seem happy to demonstrate the PC has been fixed IF you ask them before paying

Dropped my lap top in Penrith on Saturday afternoon, it was fixed and software updated by Monday afternoon at a VERY reasonable price. I will deffinitely be getting my next lap top and any other computer related supplies from these guys in the future.
