The Grand Piano Cafe

My FWB and I visited Friday, just after 10am.

A great welcome, a fantastic breakfast - with a very tempting menu available!

Bacon is thick, sausages are good, eggs are cooked properly, tea is in a nice pot, toast is lovely bread not the usual cheap stuff in other cafes we’ve visited.

Really tasty, served amazingly quick (it was quiet at the time we visited but, soon had lots more guests arriving), and good prices.

Had a little tinkle on the piano 🎹 🤪

Well worth a visit: thank you for our yummy breakfasts 😋😋

Wow, what a superb breakfast and service. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience fantastic. They have seating inside and out, we opted for outside as the weather was delightful. The breakfast came quickly and as you can see 'The Major' massive (just about scoffed the lot)! I would say that it was not the cheapest breakfast but the quality is worth the price. We will be coming back for sure.

A fantastic little Oasis in the heart of a beautiful town called Godmanchester. The second we walked in we were made to feel welcome by the friendly staff who work there. The food was amazing, home cooked and tasty. The service was second to none. We had a great meal, good conversation and in such a beautiful setting.

We found this place on Google after a good walk from Houghton Mill. We were made very welcome here and loved the informal and friendly atmosphere. The food was great with a huge choice, all home cooked. Service was very prompt. Prices are very reasonable. We would love to come back here on another visit to Cambridgeshire. Very highly recommended.

Loved it there. Read some reviews before driving West Midlands and this had come up trump's with the ones I read. It does show that we read to find places of interest of in my case, food or coffee. The late breakfast for us both were fantastic. If we're driving this direction again, the place will have our custom.

One of the nicest cafés I have ever been too. The food is delicious, the decor is lovely, there is a great choice of food, and the people are incredibly friendly and welcoming. A very feel-good place. Thank you for the delightful breakfast; we will definitely be back!

Amazing little cafe, really friendly and helpful staff. Had a good laugh. Food was good, decent portions and very reasonably priced. Definitely worth stopping in if you're in the area.

We met with family who were celebrating their recent wedding. We were served promptly, courteously and a friendly manner without being over bearing or familiar. As we were busy catching up, the very pleasant lady who was working there came over a couple of times to see if we were ready to order. She was most accommodating and returned to take our order when we had decided what we would like. The service was excellent, food delicious and overall a very pleasant atmosphere. I would have no reservations in recommending this delightful venue for food, ambience and hospitality. Will definitely be back! Thank you Grand Piano

Popped in on the off chance for a Sunday brunch, warm welcome and the host explained that a few people arrived just before us so there would be a short wait. Excellent communication. Full breakfast was amazing, service was excellent. Highly recommended 👌

Very nice food and very friendly staff

I would definitely recommend coming here just. 3 minute walk from the river so great for popping in after a cold winters walk. The place as a friendly atmosphere, and the staff are very friendly but no overbearing which is a great balance to strike. I had the hunters chicken which was spot on and the lasanga my other half had was very pleasant too. Prices are very reasonable for the portion sized and they sell coke in the glass bottles which always seems to taste better!

Brilliant stop here on my bike ride. Lovely service, great food, loads of space. Highly recommended.
