My new favourite Italian! Warm welcome, pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, the decor was very fitting with the name of the restaurant. Food was delicious! A very memorable visit and we can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely lovely Italian with a great Thursday - Saturday lunch deal of pizza and a drink for £12! Amazing given the quality of the food and drink.

We had two lovely gents who welcomed us in and served us. A great atmosphere too.

Superb food in a beautiful setting this afternoon for a spot of lunch on passing! Lasagne was so tasty, service was spot on and wine most enjoyable. Compliments to the chef!!!!

Went for lunch first impressions were good although a little odd that the reception is not noticeable from the front entrance. We were seated and promptly given menus and drinks order taken. The food was beautiful it arrived after only a short wait. Great touch that parmamigno was freshly grated over your mains. Full of flavour and cooked and presented well. The sweets were equally nice and presented really well. The service was excellent . Will definitely visit again, its just what Eccleshall needed a nice restaurant open at lunch.

The staff was more than great. Very professional and sweet. My husband loved the meatballs (best ever had) and the brownie with gelato.

Good food, attentive and friendly service nice ambiance. Service was quick food arrived on time and staff was nice and engaging. Liked the deco too all was clean, tidy and crisp.
Turning to food :The shared platter for two was delicious and nicely put together. Focaccia very tasty ( if I could make a suggestion slightly warmed up will be even better). The calzone was v good. Talliagtele with mushrooms good too. Good generous portions. Afogato nice too. We went for Mother’s Day lunch but we will defo be back. Visited the toilets which were clean and nicely presented. Disabled toilet available too.
Waiters confirmed they do takeaway too so I know that we will be back ordering. Conplimenti! Mother in law had a lovely time.

Amazing authentic tasting food, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great for veggie options and the tiramisu is 10/10. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic food & even better service! Nothing is too much trouble for these guys. If you want authentic Italian food served in an intimate friendly atmosphere, this is the place for you.

It is hard to do this restaurant justice in a review. I absolutely loved it. The food was just what I wanted. They gave an exceptional recommendation on the wine. I even met the owners who were so wonderfully charming. I can’t wait to go back!

Really lovely evening at The Olive. There was a gorgeous aroma when we went into the restaurant and the food was delicious. The portions were large....2 of us shared a tiramisu and there was plenty.
The staff (Taleah, Desi and Marin) were attentive and friendly.
Loved the decor too.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Olive Italian in Eccleshall. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive throughout our visit making the experience even more enjoyable and memorable. The most difficult part of the evening was selecting a dish from the perfectly curated Italian menu. The food was exquisite! Beautifully prepared, cooked and presented. All our meals arrived simultaneously and at the perfect temperature which considering we were a party of 12 was very impressive. The interior design, aesthetic and ambience of the restaurant is classy-chic, warm and inviting. The owners clearly have an eye for detail and have avoided pretentious pitfalls ensuring that all customers feel welcome and looked after. We are very much looking forward to next time. Thank you to everyone at Olive Italian for making our evening so special.

Our first visit to Olive and we weren't disappointed. We were warmly greeted by the staff and shown to our table. Food, drink, ambience, and service were faultless. Our waiter Marin was lovely and very helpful. We couldn't of asked for more.
Fantastic Italian Restaurant nestled in the heart of Eccleshall.

I have read the recent reviews on this place and thought I would add some feedback as I really hope the owners will read this and take on board a few small suggestions which would really make a huge difference. I ate here last night (Thursday) with a friend. The restaurant was full and had a nice vibe, good temperature and the decor is lovely. THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS COULD NOT FAULT IT. Here are the small negatives - waited by the door a little too long to be seated but not a big deal. Waited a long time to have our drinks order taken. The food was a little slow BUT I was absolutely ok with that because the food is super fresh and made to order. I could see a couple behind me chasing their food and what I do think would be a better way of approaching the issue would be this. When you seat guests say 'we are a small restaurant and we cook your food fresh to order so do please bear with us and be patient, great food takes time to create' Or something along those lines, I am sure you get the picture. People don't mind waiting if you are told this up front. Serve the drinks quicker so that at least you have something in your hand whilst you are waiting. Waitress was ok but scarce and if I am honest front of house really could be friendlier and a bit more approachable/happy. I didn't have one but the cocktail list was good and they looked great. I really hope you take on board some of the feedback as we need small restaurants like you to succeed!

We had heard a variety of reviews for Olive Italian, but we always like to make our own decisions.
We went here tonight for my birthday. As we walked in, we had a friendly greeting from the waiter. We were seated quickly, and our drinks order was taken by a very friendly waitress. The food arrived,it was served in warm dishes and well presented.The linguine Frutti di Mare was gorgeous, but by the time my husband was halfway through it, he thought it had too much chilli. But it still tasted amazing. The Risotto Autunnale was the best risotto I have ever tasted. It was well presented, and I would go as far to say as it tasted better than one I had had in Rome. The wines are a little pricey, but the Pinot Grigio was delightful.Great service,lovely atmosphere, and I would definitely recommend this place for a meal out. We will definitely be back.

Had a lovely meal at Olive last night with friends. Great service, delicious food, good cocktails, lovely decor. Would highly recommend 👌
