The food is great, generous in portions and reasonably priced but not outstanding, but that's absolutely fine. Some people will absolutely love the food and it's very good, just not superb.

The ladies serving are absolutely lovely, smiley, kind and hard working. I couldn't ask for better service. I'd definitely return.

A great Cafe, went for a walk along the Tarka trail towards Instow then had a bite to eat at this excellent Cafe. Staff were friendly and welcoming, food came quickly despite being very busy. They serve sandwiches/wraps baked potatoes, cakes etc. Ours wrap/baguette was excellent, generously filled and very tasty. Will be back because the cakes looked fantastic, just didn't have room for them after the wrap/baguette...

First time here. Ordered lunch of rarebit with seasonal salad. More like a main meal. Was absolutely lovely. More expensive than other places but worth every penny. Lovely outside seating area overlooking the Quay. Would go again.

This was a lovely stop for us, beautiful scones at a great price for not one but two scones each!!! Stunning views and a little play area for the kiddiwinks. We will be back again!

Had lunch at the cafe overlooking Fremington, lovely location, lots of walkers, including 🐕 dogs. Cafe food was a bit pricey but quality produce and lots of it. Sat out in the sun as dogs are not permitted in the inside restaurant.

Fremington quay is a staple stop for my family when we're in the area. To start with there is a lovely ship themed play park which my kids love. Secondly the cafe is always brilliant especially the scrumptious date slice which my wife loves. To finish the place off a walk down the tarka trail and a pop into the free museum next to the cafe. All in all I would recommend you make this a staple of your holiday.

Exceptional breakfast as usual.
Whenever we are on holiday, we have to partake at least twice.
We have never found another establishment that provides such consistent meals, especially the breakfast.
The staff are always very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We have also noticed that some of the staff have been there for a few years which also tells you something.
Thank you to everyone at Fremington Quay

Didn't visit the cafe as we had our own food and drink as we're on a long hike, but the whole area including the cafe was a haven of peace and tranquility.
We had our packed lunch on a bench overlooking the estuary on a beautiful sunny day, just perfect.
Would certainly recommend a visit.

Fantastic for cyclists and walkers, very well kept area that has a nice, if extremely busy, cafe with great food, which is served promptly by good staff. Outside seating is available, bit despite their being quite a lot of tables you'll be lucky to find any empty during spring and summer, inside seating is relatively spacious and cool. Beautiful area in general.
