Poppy's Vintage Tea Room

A lovely place to go. Full of character and yet everything is reasonably priced. So many delicious options here. The chocolate cake and scone were scrumptious. Staff were welcoming and friendly. A 5 star hit.

I booked Poppys vintage tea room for my mums birthday and I could not have been more blown away by the whole experience! The staff were attentive, kind, thoughtful, funny and just all round nice people. They made it so easy for my 2YO to enjoy himself and the food! The food was DELICIOUS! We were all absolutely stuffed and my mum and son even got given some free cake to take home! Very reasonably priced for what you get and I think the best cream I’ve tasted in my life is HERE! I really couldn’t big this place up enough, if you fancy a quick cuppa, a lovely cake, a meet up with friends/family or just to pop in and enjoy by yourself I think would be very very VERY worth it! I know I will be!

Excellent old English style Tea Shop. Excellent choice of afternoon tea products at reasonable prices, all of which are lovely and fresh and served to you by extremely warm and friendly staff. Well worth a visit if in the St Neots area.
They state that you enter the Tea Shop as Strangers, but you leave as Friends, which is so, so true!

Such a beautiful little spot!

Popped in with my mother for a little treat.The decor was very sweet, and exactly what you would want a little tearoom to look, and gave it a very homely feel.

Service was very quick, and really friendly. The food was amazing, all homemade and delicious. And so much cheaper than you would pay at a chain coffee shop!

This was my first time visiting, but it is now my go to coffee spot!

Friendly staff and delicious food. A lovely breakfast with my mother in law and husband. Hot chocolate was very good! Good sized portions.

We recently visited poppys and cannot fault their service at all, I got muddled with my dietary requirements as was trying to surprise a friend and on arrival bought up that one had not been fulfilled (completely me forgetting to put it in the email) they couldn't of been more accommodating, and sorted it straight away and couldn't be nicer even though it was my error, everything is made fresh and delicious we had afternoon tea for 2. It was really busy the day we went which was lovely to see but I'd perhaps pick a quieter day next time. Definitely visit is you're thinking of going. Lovely lovely ladies x

Recently visited with a close friend as they offer a fabulous gluten free menu alongside the normal menu. The food was delicious and staff were so friendly! There isn’t much detail online about the menu so have shared below 🥰

Lovely little place with friendly service. We had a delicious scone. Was deliciously fresh I suppose I would only wish it was bigger! Will be back!

Tucked away in a little corner, Poppy's is a homely, cosy, warm yet very well run place. Lovely atmosphere too. Came for my anniversary and enjoyed every minute. Service was prompt, personal and with a lot of smiles. And the pastries.... 😍. I'll be back!

Poppy’s tea room hosted a surprise baby shower for a family member. From enquiring nothing was too much trouble and all questions were quickly answered. Was able to drop off decorations and the table looked lovely on the day. Everyone commented on the friendly atmosphere, great quality cakes and sandwiches and the friendly service. Thank you

Good wholesome food, beautifully prepared and tasting great. Don't disappoint yourself with an underwhelming pub lunch when you could be enjoying Poppy's fine fare.. and cake!

Lovely little tea room down a side alley off the main street, sandwiches and drinks where amazing, friendly staff, reasonable prices, got a shock when i saw the milkshake.

A very nice and cozy Tea room in a quiet end of a road in St. Neots town. The staff is very friendly and respectful. We had scones with cream & jam. It was really really tasty. We will be returning again to this nice Tea room. Thank you 👍
