Could not fault this,aquatic shop .looks small from outside but it's like a tardis .it's huge inside .many fish and accessories to get for ponds and tanks .tropical fish and cold water . Staff are friendly and helpful will definitely be going back 🙂

Very helpful and welcoming staff are always willing to help. My vision isn't the best and I find it hard locating what I want amongst the vast amount of stock, but I was assisted very quickly in finding what I needed. Very Wide range of fish, some standard some very exotic, strange creatures and lots to see. Exceptionally clean, not a single sick or dead fish in sight, which means their water quality is amazing. Great selection of plants and wood and scaping materials and a large variety of frozen food available. Luna the shop cat is also very cute and chill. Brutus the Atya Gabonensis pictured I bought from Pier Aquatics is very healthy, ginormous and has become my new favourite, so much so I went back and got him a brother. Also very welcoming towards my dog.

I am not one for leaving reviews but felt on this occasion it was necessary. I had only ever heard good things about Pier Aquatics, even in the South East it is regarded as the best aquatics store in the UK. I decided to give them a go and ordered several fish to be delivered. Excellent communication throughout the process. Order arrived on time and the fish were packed extremely well, in fact better than I have ever seen. Very healthy fish that looked exactly as I had hoped. So this is a resounding 10 out of 10 from me. I will buy all my fish from them moving forward!

I love cats. And one of your cats always comes around the VOLKSWAGON showroom. Its so frienldy i tried to call the number in its necklace but nobody picks up idk if its lost or it just wanders around and comes back.

Was after specific fish for a few years and pier aqautics were the only place in UK who had them recently. Bought online and the process was very smooth, staff are very helpful and packaging of fish was the best I have seen. Cant fault anything excellent customer service and very healthy fish.

Myself and my wife spent about an hour and 30 minutes with one of the workers here, I think her name was Kate.. she was patient and helped us so much with our new tank and fish. I popped in the next day to take her some chocolates as a thank you.
They have a great selection of fish and they’re very well looked after and the staff are all so friendly and helpful.

Probably the best aquatics shops in the northwest, and one of the best in the country. Massive selection of wild caught and captive bred fish - anytime I find myself in Wigan, I spend an hour just wandering around and looking.

Prices are reasonable and competitive, covering the range from a couple of quid to hundreds, depending on species.

By far the best fish shop I've ever been to. Was also surprised to see competitive pricing with such a wide range. 10/10!

Very good variety of fish, lots to choose from. Reasonable price too. Tried others before we found this. This is Our go to shop worth the travel from Warrington.

Always something I have never seen in the flesh, I have kept fish more than 60 years it is the best tropical shop I have ever used ,livestock all in good condition and conditions, unsurpassed in my opinion.

Awesome store, lot and lots of fish all around store. Didn't see any dead at all. All tanks nice and clean. Well recommended. Staff were also friendly, down parking outside but nothing to cause issues.

It was my first time visiting your establishment today, and I was served by Julie.

Although I came as myself, we soon established that I had driven a distance and that I am a keen hobbyist employed by Wharf Aquatics.

Our conversation was pleasant and discussed which fish we both kept and the respect we have for each others place of work - I thought this was a very professional and welcoming touch!

I purchased half a dozen Silver Kuhli Loach, a wild pair of Checkerboard Cichlids and a pair of Humpback Limia. They all arrived home, fit and well, and have now been acclimatised into their new surroundings.

I was particularly impressed by your selection of Corys and unusual Tetra. Oh, and those Synaptolaemus are fantastic!

If you're ever passing by our neck of the woods, I hope you pop in and say hi. Until then, I wish your shop all the success.

Today 25th May 2022 I have added 4 videos from my purchase that I got back in December 2021. Let me say, it has been a brilliant choice and worth every £ there's no price for happiness. A big thanks to all at Pier Aquatics.

I was pleasley surprised to find this great convenient shopping experience. Even a non lover of Fish Aquariums will love Pier Aquatics. Found the staff team to be very helpful, knowledgeable on products and essential advice.

Very helpful friendly staff and every fish you could dream of. All tanks very clean, all stock healthy. No complaints at all. Very warm so dress lightly If you visit or you'll be sweltering. The fish I bought are very healthy, well bred and happy and have already adapted well to their new tank, I will definitely be visiting again for more fish and plants.

Cant rave about this shop enough... if you want to visit a shop that will drop your jaw then come hear... if you love plecs then this is mecca!!!!

Fantastic range of fish, my kids love going. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the prices are good.
