Awesome! & PET Friendly. Tucked behind the bus stop and quite dark looking the shop doesn’t look as welcoming as it really is. I approached thinking it would be European with a fussy menu. The menu is great!
Lovely breakfasts (which aren’t advertised outside and should be) and great coffee. Really friendly staff and pet friendly. A great alternative to the bigger brands on the high street, much more personal, fresh and home cooked. Thoroughly recommend. A+

We and our dog were made to feel very welcome when we went in for a coffee and Sunday breakfast.
He loved the attention and dog biscuits.
The food was great, the staff helpful and the atmosphere was very relaxed.

Fantastic little find. As far as I know, the only dog cafe in Surrey or Hampshire. Lovely, friendly staff. OMG, the cakes are fantastic. Great coffee, smoothies are lovely, breakfast baps and sandwiches are packed with filling. And a dog menu just for Toby. Favourite new place in town.

We love Cantine, great atmosphere, super friendly staff and the dogs absolutely love it there … so much that they don’t want to leave !!! Definitely recommend… plus they now have an alcohol license 🥂

Always a lovely welcome for you and your dog. Lovely food, cakes, teas and coffees. All staff are so friendly and helpful. And there pupacino or treats available for your dog.

Myself and my daughter and our two little dogs stumbled across this cafe before Christmas. It was such a lovely experience. It was clean, tidy and a relaxing atmosphere. Our pups loved their treats and we enjoyed our treats as well. Will be back for sure! Thank you and happy new year xx

Update: 3 years on from the original review and it is still our favourite cafe - it's a social hub and a nice place to sit and enjoy a slice of cake or a yummy sandwich. The team are always super friendly and welcoming too.

Original review: Two delicious vegan AND soya-free options (lemon cake and carrot cake). Charming service, plenty of room, great coffee and loads of delicious options for those without dietary restrictions. Husband had a dreamy-looking oreo brownie which disappeared in a heartbeat. New local favourite.

We and our dog look forward to visiting Cantine. The staff are so friendly. The food, cakes and coffee are all great at reasonable prices. Lovely seeing all the other dogs

Such a lovely dog friendly place, very accommodating for our large group of runners and our dog. Great food, friendly staff. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

I was initially sceptical thinking it may place emphasis on gimmick over coffee. I was wrong! Coffee was great with a consideration of the bean and roast. Great selection of cakes for different diet types. Service was excellent. I had one of the staff chase me down the street to give me my take away I forgot. Local art on sale. Definitely recommend. Very reasonable price for espresso: better price and quality then other coffee shops on the high street.
