Willow Tree - JD Wetherspoon

The food is really good. I have been many times before but today went on Father day. It was busy because of Father’s Day but I didn’t mind that. The only thing that made it quite bad is that it takes a long time for the food to come to you. Usually it’s about 10 minutes but today it was bout 30. But in the end the waiting was worth it and the meal was great. They also have a really good drink offer. If you buy a hot drink (only about £1.35) you get the rest free. Love this place. ❤

Had breakfast in here on Sunday at 11 am and was very busy at this time, at least 3\4 full. Ordered my food at the bar, but you can order from the table via QR code. Food came quite quick, no more than 15 minutes' wait & had a large breakfast with a coffee which you get unlimited refills from the coffee machine. The food was very good, but I will say my bacon was slightly overdone, but other than that, it was great. There is a wheelchair friendly entrance & it has a seating area to the front & the back of the building for sunny days. Very clean inside & the staff are friendly and helpful & the meals are very reasonably priced, paid just over £8 for a large fry up (photo of my plate of food in pics) & unlimited coffee you can't complain at that :)

Whoever did the ground work for this pub deserves a raise, Wetherspoons have this one perfect. It has effectively become a community pub at the heart of stowmarket. All comers visit it for a drink, food or even just a coffee. Good space outside for the summer. Has been a great addition to the town.

Nice food and drink at a good price. Food served hot. Friendly staff, interesting building. Lots of tables outside (see photos). Big car park behind it (by B&M it's pay and display). Smaller car park at the front across the road. The Willow Tree - another great Wetherspoons.

Well it's a Spoons. So one knows what one is getting. However the service here is fairly quick for a Spoons. The staff are also friendly and polite which is normal for Spoons. Also plenty of seating. A most enjoyable meet up place, for old friends to while away and afternoon!

I wish I'd taken her name, but a staff member was truly brilliant when I had issues due to a dietary requirement. Service in general was good, good nice

Went at 6pm on a Saturday and it was very busy. We had to wait to get a seat. Staff were brilliant could not do enough for us. I used the app which worked a treat. I had the mixed grill. It was lovely. But.. just as well that I Like my food cremated xx

It's the lovliest Wetherspoons that I've ever been to. The building is a delight, with a carefully thought out outside space. The staff working today were really good, and I would suspect this is due to good management. The food was great, well presented and arrived hot and quickly. The waitress came to check that we were happy with the food (never had this happen in a Wetherspoons before) and the guy who took the order at the bar was charming. Well done.

Great food great service fantastic pricies. I now understand why it was so busy. Will be going back soon

The staff were extremely busy yet still very pleasant and efficient. The food was well cooked, nicely presented and delicious. Properly poured pint of Guinness and a very pleasant white wine included with the meals. One or two people seemed impatient, hence the 4 not 5 stars for atmosphere.

Food was extremely good, I was surprised to be honest. I found the menu to be a bit of a challenge, lots of information and quite small print.

Just great value for money food & drinks.staff always so pleasant & very efficient.

For a spoons in such a small town it was really nice, new things on the menu like the shawarma wrap. Really impressed. Nice pub, didn't go outside but garden looked great for the summer

Pleasantly surprised... it's not gourmet but the food WAS pretty decent (especially for the price, top value!) the service was excellent (I wish I'd got the young man's name that served us, very helpful, polite, and smiley 😊).
After its first opening, it took a bit of a dip a few years ago, in my opinion, but having two older teenagers that love a 'Spoon's' with their mates, I'm glad we gave ourselves a weekday treat and saw that it is most definitely 'back up there' and deserves a good rating 👍🏻🍽🌟
OH, and a real 'mum thing' - I LOVED their crockery choice! 😅

Tried the Ramen Noodle Bowl for a change and was really surprised at how nice it was. Thoroughly recommend.

Fast service, helpful staff, good value food.

Nice large venue with plenty of seating available. Fairly standard for a spoons but you get what you pay for so cant fault it 👍
