A return to form for the RCR!
After a disappointing visit last year we were hesitant, the recent reviews have been poor but we were pleasantly surprised!
The food was excellent, nice to see themed dishes back on the menu! The nemesis tandoori chicken burger was absolutely great, only waited about about 5 minutes for it and it all came out nice and hot! We also had a couple of the Smile Always, smiler themed, burgers which were very good too if not a bit messier! The smiler logo on the black bun in gold was an absolutely excellent touch too!
Price wise it's on par with a middle of the road gastro pub, £17-19 for burgers and £3.15 for a glass bottle of coke.
All in all it was a great visit and if it carries on like this then it'll remain a good place to visit for the forceable future! Just don't let it slip back to where is was in late 2022 and mid 2023.

A delightful evening at Rollercoaster Restaurant in Altilon's Tower Park!

Easy booking, friendly staff, and prompt service.

The captivating atmosphere was complete with the travelling food orders.

The menu offered a diverse range, with a notable spice kick for those daring enough.

A night enjoyed by both adults and kids alike.

Fun place to go for a meal! After you order the food is delivered to your table along tracks. Turns up quickly and is nice and hot. Primarily burger / chicken nugget style food but tasty. Staff were really helpful. And the wine was great after a long day on the rides!

We went for dinner at the Rollercoaster Restaurant on Saturday evening after a day in the park! We had a great time, Josh who showed us to our table and explained things was really helpful and friendly! The food came super quick and was really tasty. The menu wasn't massive but that works and we were all able to find something to eat.
We loved the way the food arrived and it was good quality. My nephew loved it, he had the best time and really enjoyed the light show during dinner as well.
Would definitely recommend.

Nothing really to complain about, though it's not an exceptional experience or anything. The food is better than the standard Harvester fair, and more interesting options. The delivery method is just fun to experience and watch around the restaurant. They loop through different ride music and theme videos every now and then with lighting changes which is fun, and there's posters around the place of old ride adverts and technical plans. It's a bit pricey but actually cheaper than other places around the park and less of a premium than restaurants in popular European theme parks. Enjoyed the food and the experience, and the staff were attentive.

Had cheeseburger had chips was delicious servers are lovely really friendly food comes down a rollercoaster... I love the ride themes really fun place

We visited last week and seeing all the bad reviews I was a little skeptical about coming. We had an evening booking and would say the restaurant was around half Full on arrival. My kids loved the experience and we didn't have to wait long for our main food. We waited a little while for our children's dessert but that was only because they got stuck on the track, my daughter noticed they were stuck before any staff, but was it quickly resolved. We did have to ask for more cutlery as there wasn't enough in the pot on the table but was brought over straight away. Charlie our waitress was fab and was happy to answer all my children's questions. Our food was delicious and the portion sizes were good. (I had the pork bao buns, my kids and partner had burgers) A fab unique dining experience we loved it and would definitely visit again. 😀

Atmosphere was amazing food was really nice would recommend it and come back

we were worried about not getting a seat as we couldn't book a table however you can be seated on the day. the atmosphere was so cool, the theming around the place was beautiful. the food was very good and it's definitely a must visit place when you go

Today's visit 100% on point. All staff helpful, good food. No prebooking but we were seated due to availability 4pm.
Food order via QR/phone, I requested contactless card payment via the till point as the QR system didn't pick up Google pay.

10/10 on this one, especially if you've just spent the day at Alton Towers and want to continue your rollercoaster high 🎢

Have to say, we (as a group of 4, including one Vegan 🌱) were impressed with the quality of the food here, and also it's preparation time. To top it off, it's always great fun to watch your food swirl down to you on a mini rollercoaster of its own straight to your table.

The price for drinks ~£3.85 for a bottle of coke is a bit 😬 but again, you're paying for the novelty of being in the rollercoaster restaurant.

Solid 5 stars as I have no serious complaints other than:

1) could dim the lights a bit so we can enjoy the LED strips
2) spenny drinks 🤣

We called I to the roller coaster restaurant bout 15.30pm at the time we started queuing it was bout 15.10pm.
We waited bout 20mins for a table we went in got shown our table then a lovely lady came across and show us how to order on the tablet.
We ordered our food and drinks the cokes came down on the roller coaster,  but if you order beers they get brought over to the table for you.
We waited bout 15-20mins for the food. They sent the children's meals down first then bout 5mins later they sent the adults food.
Yes the restaurant is expensive for the drinks and food but it's very well worth the money. Our order came over £100 but I would definitely go there again.

Great food with a unique delivery service. Food was a little pricey but I didn't mind so much as the quality was good with a decent portion size.

Bit of a queue to get in but once in you won't be disappointed. Prices are totally in line with the quality of the food, which we thought was brilliant. Amazing service, fantastic gimmick for the restaurant and they made my sons birthday extra special. Would recommend anyone to add this eating experience to their trip to Alton Towers.

Amazing. Just amazing! It was so much fun watching our food come down the little coaster tracks! There was a wait time to get in as it was lunch time, but we didn't wait longer than 20 minutes to be seated. The one downside is that unless you all order within 10 seconds of each other, it's unlikely you'll all be eating at the same time. The atmosphere more than makes up for it though! Vegetarian options available, though mainly burger options.

Love it in here always go when at towers loving the food smiler burger great. Service was brilliant big shout out to Tolulope Alejolowo sorry if miss spelt. Really friendly made sure everything was ok checked on us make sure we were ok ordering. Went again today and saw the interaction with him and the other customers and was really good energy. Amazing work.

Very good restaurant food was lovely well cooked and surprisingly not a bad overall price there was 7 of us and for mains sides deserts and drinks was £175 good price in my opinion for what we had and how many of us there was, themeing was fantastic shows every 30 min and the rollercoasters that bring your food down is fab! Would definitely go back and definitely recommend to anyone who's visiting alton towers 😀

We loved it here, the experience was great for the kids and we really enjoyed the food. The prices aren't that extortionate compared to other theme parks, it cost us approx £55 for 4 of us to eat and that's drinks included. Kids mocktails tasted great too 🥰 only downside was there is no deserts to finish off!

Great atmosphere - food was okay for what it was however the atmosphere of everything flying around was excellent truly have never experienced a dining experience like this before it is well worth having a meal here on the day!

Food was great only issue we had was ordering it not like a normal restaurant you have to order starters then wait before ordering your main then wait to order desert if you order all at once it will all come at once
