Castle Cove Beach

Beautiful place to swim. Or just sit down and take in the scenery. Would love if they opened the wooden bridge to get further. However, if you fancy a quick swim while in Dartmouth this is your place.

The Dartmouth Castle carpark has only 10 spaces . Will be very busy in good weather . The road to it is also narrow.
From the carpark at Dartmouth Castle there a pathway leading down to a beach . Zig zag steps . Better and safer at low tide. Grey gravel beach with a sea cave that’s only accessible at low tide. Caution on the rocks and from falling debris near the cliff face.

Beautiful, probably best at high tide for swimming.

Beautiful little hidden beach

Im Sommer kann man hier wunderbar baden. Das Wasser hat keine 20
Grad, aber es war dafür eine schöne Abkühlung bei heißem Wetter. Ansonsten auch Stand up Paddling geeignet.
