This is a beautiful caravan/camper van/ camping site set in over 150 acres of bucolic English countryside. The facilities are excellent, with a modern shower block and toilets, washing up facilities and even a fridge and freezer to keep your food and drink cool.
Nick and Sue are wonderful people, friendly and knowledgeable about the local area, its history and its place in the community, they'll also help to make your stay as pleasant as possible, going above and beyond to make sure your break, whether it be one night or a fortnight is one of relaxation and happiness.
We've been coming here for 7 or 8 years, and every visit is a delight 😊

Wood Farm is a great location with stunning views of the Staffordshire Countryside. It's well located for travelling by road. It's about 15 minutes drive from the A50 and about 15 minutes drive from Cheadley which has a good selection of shops.

Very friendly hosts and great sized pitches for camping.

Just had a great first weekend at Wood Farm with 8 of our friends age ranging from 5 to 50. Children, dogs and grown ups all completely exhausted as we got home, brilliant place for really feeling away from it all and yet for us so close to home.
Site is very well maintained and the facilities are lovely and clean. Kids thought the barn, tuck shop, disco & karaoke were fantastic, grown up thought the kids being occupied was equally fantastic.🤣.
Nick & Sue we will definitely be back, you have a fabulous place!

Went to see the gardens at the bungalow, and what a surprise it was.
So many little hidden gems all over the place, with waterfalls grottos wonderful growing frames and flowerbeds, statues and old garden implements used to great effect. It is a true wonder. Coupled with marvelous tea and cakes (homemade) make it a great experience.

Can't speak highly enough of Nick and Sue, their hospitality and the campsite. Gorgeous views, impeccably clean loos and showers, EHU, immaculate pitches, and they really can't do enough for you. A perfect base for 2 days at Alton Towers, and we WILL be back! Thanks for a fab couple of days :)

This is one of our go-to places in the campervan. They also take caravans and tents. You are always guaranteed a friendly welcome with all the facilities you need and a regular karaoke night thrown in.

There are three big fields with plenty of space because large areas are set aside for meadow. On our last visit, the meadows were full of dandelions, a really nature friendly site.

It is called wood farm because the owners have planted acres of trees, and they are in various stages of growth, giving some idea of how long the owners have been planting.
The woodland is fully accessible because the owner mows the grass between the rows of trees, providing several woodland walks.

Taking these walks and enjoying all the different trees with the air filled with birdsong is complemented by the spectacular hilltop views of the surrounding countryside. It is truly a place to relax.

Stayed here for one night before going to Alton Towers. Nick and Sue were great and the spot we were given out the back was perfect. They have some lovely woodlands walks and the facilities were top notch. 5/5. Definitely recommend. Looking forward to the videos of wild animals going up on their website.

One of the most beautiful and reportedly most haunted places in the country.

We had a fantastic weekend of paranormal investigation with some interesting results.

The campsite is well run with all the basic facilities you need. They will deliver firewood straight to your tent and even provide a rubbish collection service.

The toilets on the field are just portaloos but it's just a short walk to the more comfortable facilities, showers and pot wash.

The owners are super friendly and will do all they can to help.

We had a group of 13 people and every single one of us are looking forward to our next visit to Wood Farm.

Relaxed campsite. Only stayed for the night but there was a real sense of community and we spend all evening sitting around the campfire with a few of the other campers having some food and beers, laughing. Would definitely return again

Superb campsite.

Beautiful scenery.

Good facilities. Bathroom was super clean.

Great to be able to have a fire (for a small fee - but totally worth it). Nothing beats camping round a fire.

Plus the nicest owners/hosts around.

Had a problem with my car and Nick couldn't have done more to help. He got me back on the road. Thanks again Nick!

If you're staying consider a walk to the Raddle pub. Nice walk and well worth it if you have kids. The Talbot is nice too but not really walkable.

Recently stayed here for two nights with my two children aged 8 & 5 for their first ever camping experience and can honestly say we had a fantastic time. The site is great with great sized well mowed pitches. The space on the site is immense with woodland walks, big meadows to play in and is perfect for allowing the kids to explore and play in a safe environment. The facilities are immaculate and the owners were so welcoming and accommodating. It was great to have a campfire in the evening and Logs are provided by the site for a small fee, cannot fault anything about the site only that we didn't stay longer, Will definitely be returning soon.

Recently stayed for three nights at this amazing campsite and can honestly say it was the best place I've ever camped. The scenery was stunning, the facilities were extremely clean and modern and the owners are two of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Thank you so much, Nick and Sue, for making us feel so welcome and at home. Fantastic place and would recommend to anyone. Oh and I'll forward that video on as soon as possible :) thanks again! x

Relaxing, easy going family fun. Great people. Love it !!! Over a hundred acres to explore and enjoy nature. The farms history is fascinating. One of the few campsites where you can still have a camp fire 🔥. The family disco and karaoke are locally famous and super popular.

Did a survival course here, lovely family who run the farm, beautiful landscapes and area to do the course. We were off the grid camping but the fact that this was accommodated makes this place a brilliant place to visit. 100% recommend this to everyone.b

Possible one of the best campsites in the UK, the owners are extremely helpful, friendly, and leave you to get on with a your outside living. The surrounding area around the site is very well maintained giving life to the wildlife and plants and for everyone to enjoy. Walks can be found all over the area. You can even get to Alton towers with ease.

Superb campsite with amazing views, Nick and his wife are tremendous hosts and if you're into your history Nick has a lot of artifacts that have been dug up in his barn. Definitely staying there again!!!
