Timberstone self catering, Retreat and B&B

What an amazing house and beautiful location. Plenty of space for groups/families. The bedrooms were spacious, clean and comfy. The three lounge areas were comfortable and great for entertaining. Alex and Tracey were easily contactable. The garden and tree house was loved by all. Will definitely be back!

The perfect place for a getaway. I booked the cottage for my friend's hen do, for a relaxing hen party. The house was absolutely beautiful, with 4 of the rooms having their own bathrooms and 2 sharing one, aswell as a downstairs toilet, it was perfect for a big group. They have thought of everything - from really lovely toiletries, shampoos and conditioners in each bathroom and a separate shower and bath in each, to a very well stocked kitchen with every kind of crockery and pan (we had afternoon tea as part of the weekend and there was a full vintage china set which was perfect). The outdoor area is lovely with a treehouse and horses in the next field, aswell as the hot tub.
Plenty of sociable living areas too,with three separate lounges and two kitchens, one an industrial type so perfect for cooking for big groups ( breakfast or dinner Parties).
There is also plenty of parking at the property.
It is quite remote,but perfect for having a get together with friends or family.
The owners Tracey and Alex are super friendly and helpful and have made this house into something wonderful.
I'd def recommend to anyone planning a family or friend celebration. It sleeps up to 14 people (one room has two doubles in it )

Absolutely brilliant weekend. Timberstone is a perfect place to get together with friends. The house had everything we needed and more and the hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating. The wine and goodies upon arrival was a lovely touch and much appreciated. We will definitely be back.

Had a great 2021 Christmas away at this superb cottage. There was 15 of us here for 4 nights 12 adults 3 small children and our Cocker Spaniel. We had the best time. We would totally recommend this cottage for any time of the year.

A fantastic B&B the hosts friendly and welcoming and very attentive. Room very comfortable and clean and the food is fabulous and homely. We only stayed one night but hope to stay again as this is a fantastic location with great views and a wonderful atmosphere. Very best wishes Mark and Amelia.

Hired the whole of timberstone recently for a family get together / birthday celebration. It was perfect and we loved it. Would definitely recommend it to anyone, our party ranged in age from 2 years old to 87 years old and everyone agreed it was the perfect house, the owners were so helpful! Thank you, hopefully we will be back!

Wonderful welcome from Tracy and Alex, great room and bathroom and exeptionally good breakfast, children enjoyed themselves and it was very rare to find a place where Rufus, our dog, was given as full a welcome as we were.
