Starbucks Coffee

Thank you to the lovely team at Farnborough who remade a drink (that was a little too sweet) today with a smile.

Staff always really lovely in there and the service can be a little slow sometimes, but that’s when they’re manic and rushed off their feet. They always great with smiles and just overall friendly and the coffee is always gorgeous and hot.

Where do I begin?

I suppose I’ll start from the beginning of my day. Waking up crusty eyed and wounded from my ancient mattress. I undertook the tedious rituals of my morning routine with a uncharacteristic vigour, as today was my pre-allocated Starbucks day! (and I had a free drink to claim).

I cartwheeled myself towards the till and shouted my order in perfect Latin, “magna alba capulus placet!”. The staff member behind the counter understood and nodded, silently creating my beverage. I knew they were smiling behind those dark aviator shades. Such diligent workers they are! I wonder what sort of life I’d lead if I was given even a brief glimpse of the world on the other side of those chrome machines. What would I believe in? Would I stand tall and resist the waves of fascism rippling through this country I used to love so well? Would I champion workers rights? Feminism? There is a universe where I am this man, yet he lives so far away. My nihilistic existence of blindness consumerism continues after this brief daydream. I gave everyone inside the store a fist bump because I was so pleased with the quality of service and the tastiness of my drink, plus …it was free!😋😋.

Always a polite and friendly welcome at this Starbucks.Prompt service and there is always seating available for those that want to catch up with friends and family.

I meet my friend there every Tuesday year round and we always receive great service and great drinks. It's not an overly cozy space but it feels airy and open. They make it really easy to make drinks vegan and the granola bars in the cake/bakery bit are vegan so if you want to get something to eat as a vegan you can. The prices are high but that's not a branch specific issue and it's expected from starbucks tbh. The branch seems to get busy over Christmas but is otherwise fine.

Clean bright and a nice place to sit relax and enjoy drink. Long queues but not too long to wait hard to hear when ordering through the divider and server wearing mask but not really a problem

As expected, great service. Coffee was made quick and expertly, staff was friendly and approachable, couldn't really ask for more 👌🏻

Starbucks was Starbucks as per usual. Friendly staff and good service. Starbucks was much quieter thanks to the dreich weather.

Love a good Starbucks whenever we are out and about for the day shopping. The best thing is that on a hot day, you can buy cold iced lattes or a frappuccino. 😊☕
