I bought a kayaking and paddle boarding session as a gift for my parents, they went today and had an amazing experience. Tim was knowledgeable and friendly, making the session both fun and informative. The equipment provided was top-notch, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable time on the water. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a great adventure on the water

Incredible morning spent Ghyll Scrambling up Stickle Ghyll with our friendly and knowledgeable instructor, Tim! We had a private group of 6 booking for a hen party and spent 3 hours scrambling and completing lots of fun water challenges set by Tim which was a great experience that the whole group loved! We were all complete novices but easily accessed the activity and the level of challenge was appropriate. The equipment provided was top quality and we all felt extremely safe and comfortable for the duration of the activity. It was a nice touch that so many photos were taken and shared with us via social media to always remember the day! Thank you Tim and Adventure North West - thoroughly enjoyed and recommend!

A group of us aged between 26-30 had a really fun time, it was for all abilities and Tim encouraged us to try things and was a great instructor. A beautiful view of the Langdales fells. Deffo would recommend for a group camping trip!!!

Cannot recommend enough. 2 mornings spent first kayaking in beautiful surroundings and then Ghyll Scrambling a few days later. All the family loved both activities and Tim was very patient and supportive, a lovely guy

From arriving, Tim was a great host of the scramble.
Even before this, he kept in contact beforehand and was extremely helpful regarding the process.

The ghyll scramble was brilliant and even better to just have our own group with Tim. He was extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the activity and guided us throughout.

During the activity, we completed waterfall climbs, pool jumps, caves, as well as plenty of little activities along the way. Tim was great crack throughout it and made us all feel at ease when he would show us each activity as well to help make us feel more comfortable.

This is an activity I would highly recommend especially with Tim and you won’t be disappointed!

We booked Ghyll scrambling for October! 🤣Tim Made it really fun, we were fully kitted out and felt completely safe in his hands, lots of water which mad things really fun. who says the lakes are wet and windy all the time! Definitely need a good level of fitness but definitely well worth the cold extremities!

We ran two group paddleboarding experiences with Tim at Adventure North West. Everyone was able to stand with Tim's expert teaching and my two groups loved the session on Coniston water. It was the highlight of their weekend, so many laughs and team bonding to be had on the water, I would highly reccomend this.

Tim was a delight, His knowledge of the area is superb. He accomodated for our miniature daxie and didn't laugh too much when we fell in multiple times. Would deffinetly book again and even try out some of his other activities.

Had a fantastic morning climbing stickle Ghyll with adventure North West. Very good value for money. Felt safe at all times. Would highly recommend. Tim was very friendly and knowledgeable and passionate about the local area.

What a fab morning we had paddleboarding! Tim is very knowledgeable around the techniques of paddling and we learnt some facts about Coniston Water too! Would absolutely recommend this to anyone whether your first starting out as Tim is very patient or if you're looking for a more experienced session! Very well priced for what you get out of the experience! I'm now looking into buying my own board!

Absolutely brilliant ghyll scrambling in a beautiful setting, we loved every minute of it. Tim who led the activity was really friendly and welcomed our dog along too . Highly recommend. We will be back

We had a great morning as a family of 6 doing problem solving/team building (and realising that 3 generations of one family do not necessarily make the best team) and archery where we had to use our restraint not to fire the arrows at each other after the first activity. Our host was very very helpful and friendly too.

Had a great morning paddle boarding on lake Coniston. I was super nervous after a previous bad experience but Tim was brilliant. Very patient and gave lots of advice and encouragement so I was soon stood up and off! Thanks!!

Amazing adventure canyoning in Coniston with Tim from Adventure North West. Ghylls were incredibly beautiful, water crisp and clear & Tim our guide was nimble as a mountain goat - great skills Tim! See ya next time & thanks for bringing the pop up tents.

I recently did a ghyll scramble as part of a group of 5 and it was perfect!

The activity has you climbing your way up a river while attempting a variety of fun jumps and climbs amongst beautiful scenery.

Our activity leader was extremely helpful, making sure that everyone in our group was assisted when appropriate. They also captured amazing moments with a camera they bring on the private session.

Everyone in our group felt very engaged the whole time, exemplifying how this activity is perfect for a wide variety of ages and ability.

My children are begging me to take them back next year with Tim. They had so much fun with Kayaking and Ghyll Scrambling last few days. Thank you so much Tim.
