Dapa Coffee

We decided to take a pass on the local Costa and give Dapa Coffee a try today 02.10.2022.

After calming T-Reb we entered quietly and found a quiet spot that resembled the local National Park.

Lovely peaceful little coffee house with cakes and beers for use on the school run.

Back to what you want to know, Latte and coffee Orio Cookie concoction that the lovely member of staff advised that she normally does as a bit of a show stopper on both were amazing.

We shared as you do Lemon cake and Rocky Road both well especially the Rocky Road one of the best richest tasting versions we have had.

Good show all round special thanks to the member of of staff with the show stopper good to have share a bit of pride in what you do it makes a difference in whatever we do, thanks again.

As a holiday maker from Sussex visiting this lovely cafe which goes the extra mile ! The couple that own this was absolutely amazing and couldn’t do more for us ! Plus selling Guinness and Morritti beer i wish they opened a replica cafe 🍵 in sussex ! Menus , set up I really loved . Owner genuine nice people who make you so welcome 🙏

Recently, (May 2024) booked Dapa for an evening surprise 40th birthday.

Martin and his staff were amazing.

In a world where we’re quick to whinge when something goes wrong, I felt it equally important to do the same when EVERYTHING went right.

I recently moved to the area and one thing I love is a good coffee and I found it at Dapa Coffee. Despite there being other coffee shops in the village, this place has everything covered. I have to say, i’m fussy when it comes to coffee but Dapa has a great variety. My oat milk latte was incredible! There is a nice feel in the place and a range of seats/tables both inside and outside. They even have my favourite beer on draft… Moretti! What more can you ask for? Oh yes, and they got you covered if you are a vegan too!!
Also, I love supporting local independent businesses, especially in these current times.
The staff are helpful and polite too, this goes a long way.
Dapa, I will be seeing very soon. 👍🏻🙏🏻

Great friendly coffee shop in the heart of Formby Village. Staff really friendly and lovely coffee. Really good for working with power and fast WiFi

A warm, friendly and super relaxing atmosphere for that much needed coffee fix, along with many delicious cakes to boot. DAPA is unmistakably the smarter choice. Such a great place. Love it here.

Love this place all staff where so nice and welcoming especially the blond hair staff if I can recall his name was Elliot has a heart of gold that kid in my opinion he deserves a pay rise he was helpful kind and gorgeous

Hired the venue for a party and it was amazing. The venue speaks for itself, but a special shout-out needs to go to the staff. Di who was my main contact was really helpful throughout and she is also a lovely person who made the night more enjoyable. The rest of the staff were super helpful and friendly too. I look forward to booking again in the future

Best coffee shop in the village! Lovely coffee and friendly staff.

Visited this morning for the first time. Normally go to Cafe Nero despite it being a bit of a dump, because I like the coffee. Won’t be going anymore after trying Dapa. Everything was perfect, and the coffee is better than Cafe Nero and Costa. I’m converted…👍

Update….
Now they don’t allow to go in with your dog. That’s a shame, back to Cafe Nero .

Nice sunny day so lots of people sat outside, coffee/ drinks brought to you so no long queue at counter. Option to order from table. Friendly young wait staff.
Had heard bad reports but would definitely go back.

I have just moved to FORMBY and I am looking forward to trying the local businesses. I came across DAPA this morning, as it seemed to be the only place open. Lovely coffee, quick service and the staff member was very chatty and polite. Coffee was lovely and altered to my preference, nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommend.

Lovely new independent cafe with comfortable seating good coffee and a limited but tasty menu. You do have to wait a while, this is not the place to grab a bite on the go, they bring your drink/ Good to the table and that takes time but worth the wait.

Superb quality coffee, warm welcoming atmosphere, the latest addition to Formby Village is one I would highly recommend. Special thanks must go to Diana for her friendly, polite and efficient service. The coffee was sensational!

Third visit since opening, service is amazing, welcoming atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble. Even offered a table upstairs for a private meeting. Coffee is brilliant too!
