Sheriffs Highway Vets

Thanks to the understanding receptionist for arranging an appointment on the same day as calling on Saturday 13th May it was so very much appreciated. Angel reviewed our dog Selby she gave him such a thorough examination, injection for nausea and meds for home, I left with him so much more happier and reassured it meant the world to me and my family. 😊

Honestly one of the BEST vets I have ever used. They’ve looked after my cat since he was five weeks old and I’ve never had any issues. They are always helpful, friendly and always happy to give advice. No issue is too small or silly, they have a lot of time for animals and genuinely care :)

We switched to this vet after being underwhelmed by our previous practice and family members recommending we try here instead.
We have found them to be kind, empathetic and caring when dealing with our poorly dog. We really noticed a difference from our previous vet and would highly recommend.

The staff are fantastic. I have an extremely nervous dog and the staff were so patient and kind to her to try and make her experience a bit better. Won't go anywhere else.

I have found Sheriffs veterinary practice in Otto Terrace Sunderland to be a n efficient and Cary practice.
The staff are brilliant whilst the vets assessment of my pets needs prove to be sound and reassuring.
No one likes to pay vets fees so I can't really comment on the costs.

Friendly caring service very accommodating by changing the appointment for one of our cats at the last minute due to the cat making alternative plans and going on a mission for the whole day. 2022 as time has gone on its gradually turned in large company vet and the experience is not quite the same

Jane was so lovely with my dog, Lola. She was knowledgeable, thorough and gentle. I could not recommend her highly enough. All reception staff were welcoming, pleasant and helpful too. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sheriffs Highway Vets. It's reassuring to know our beloved pets are in such safe hands.

Receptionist was polite, vet was really thorough with dexter's 6 month checkup can't fault the place

Lovely practice. The staff is welcoming and attentive. The vets do a great job of explaining in detail how to care for your poorly pet and you're always encouraged to call in case you're not sure of anything. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful as well.

Very friendly staff. Appointments always on time. Reasonable prices. Great service so far. Nothing bad at all to say about the Vets. So far so good.

Took our cat to be spayed in November 2020 and couldn't fault the place. The communication after the operation was brilliant and they were very quick to ease any concerns we had. Would not hesitate to use again and have recommended to others. Thank you from us and Cleo!

Signed my cat up here when we first got her and have had no poor experiences. The vets are friendly and understanding, and the building is clean. They are willing to explain everything to you if you aren't sure, and reception staff are very friendly. They send a little postcard in the post when vaccinations are due - they are honestly brilliant vets.

Great service yet again from the duty vet at Otto Terrace. She spent a lot of time trying to reassure our nervous Bulldog just to get her booster injections done. A successful visit and she got to bring her offered treat home with her .... She never accepts them from the vet !!!! Thanks again guys 🐕

We visited here on New Year's Day when sadly our 17 and a half years old dog had to be put to sleep. The staff were so kind and thoughtful and left us with him for as long as we needed to say goodbye. They even sent us a card with a lovely hand written verse with the receipt as we we asked for a cremation and paw prints and they sorted it all out. Thanks again for your understanding.

We had to take our very poorly old cat here just last week. Holly.. the 2 girls on reception were so caring...and the vet ..Jane was so kind ..and reassuring...we had to say goodbye to holly and obviously myself and my partner were very upset but all 3 ladies here deserve a big thank you for their care towards holly..and myself and Gavin (king) highly recommend
