Vets4Pets - Sunderland South

I had to let my precious cat, Missy, cross the rainbow bridge today. Staff were extremely kind & sensitive & I can't speak highly enough of the vet that looked after us both. He allowed me time with, before, during & after the procedure. There was no rush & he handled Missy so gently and with dignity.
I can't thank him enough.

Fabulous friendly staff and male vet was patient and friendly aswell as professional, especially as I have a quiet, nervous small rescue dog. Many thanks I have used this vets before with previous dogs and its great. Also plenty of parking out front close to vets, handy if like me you have to carry your small dog in. Grass bits fenced round carpark for toilet before and after vets for your dog. Also next door is greggs and Coop so handy to pop in either straight after or before vets while dog in car or in vets. Greggs there has tables and chairs outside if you need a cuppa while you wait for your pet or friends or a lift. Easy access to car park left off main dual carriageway type road for me and then on way back an easy up to roundabout and right turn to go back home. Thanks

We had our dog indy put to sleep there last night friday 8th the vet who dealt with us was amazing he stayed with us and comforted indy until her last breath hes a credit to the company also thank you to the reception staff who new i was upset when we went

Lovely clean little vets practice with friendly staff and a reasonable price for my cat's claws cut. I'll be using this vets again for sure.

Always had excellent service from this vets. The vets are friendly professional explain everything fully and have a lovely day with animals. I wouldn't go anywhere else

My cat was seen quickly by a lovely vet named Alex. He was very caring and made my nervous cat relax for her thorough examination.
He prescribed medication and gave me advice to aid her recovery. Vets4Pets are always ready to help in any way possible, and I would recommend them to anyone.

I've been going to this practice for a good few years now with my aging cat and have always been impressed with the staff's warmness and professionalism. Today was the day we had to say goodbye to our beloved old pet and it could not have been dealt with more sensitively or kindly by the vet, Alex, and the reception staff. This practice provides a wonderful service and I would certainly be back in future for any future pets needs

Staff were lovely and friendly. My kitten was seen quickly and fully checked over and given first vaccination with flea/worm prevention treatment. Staff were great with arranging next appointments and explaining everything I needed/wanted to know

Just started to take my dog here she's been three time's and I can't fault them, staff are lovely. The vet I have seen is called Lucy and she is really nice and friendly. I changed vets because the one I was with seemed to be all for the money and not the welfare of my dog. Highly recommend this vet practice.

Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, treated Warwick very well and loved seeing him. Everything was explained in great detail. No complaints at all

Excellent service. The reception girls are amazing. Always go above and beyond to be helpful. Fantastic vet nurses who always remember your pet. Ronnie and i have mainly dealt with the nurses but the vet we last saw was also fantastic. She went out of her way to bring us in, knowing Ronnie is not good with other dogs. I would not use another vets. Always been really impressed with the service.

Wouldn't take milo anywhere else, they have never forgotten him, he was took at 8 wks old for his first jab and they know who he is everytime he goes in. Staff are so friendly and vets are amazing,

Excellent from start to finish.
Staff lovely.
Absolutely couldn’t fault it.
No long waits with crying pets or skittish dogs.
Waiting room a bit small. Wouldn’t like to sit there in the summer but if appointments run on time it’s not an issue I guess. Also feel a public toilet would be handy for children in tow 🤭

Had my beautiful girl looked after here from being a pup recently had to make the heart breaking decision to let her go over the rainbow bridge the compassion the ladies on the desk and the vet was second to none I have just picked up her ashes today and the care that they have done this with was exemplary I feel she was treated with the dignity she deserved thankyou for your kindness vets 4 pets

Giving them 5 stars because so far all our questions was answered,all our problems solved, if the visit needs to happen urgently they will try their best to move things around for you. Always there to explain everything in great detail. We got our 2 frenchies and were worried about everything how they breathing, how they walking , how they wee and all that :)) but they were happy to discuss everything over the phone on in the clinic and we got every answer we needed. Vets4pets South are amazing from the second you walk in the door to exiting. All staff are friendly, supportive and genuinely care for my dogs like their own. money can not buy this service. Would recommend to anyone

They are really great with my puppy and seem great with other animals. Did have one vet that upset the puppy but rest of the staff are friendly and put both of us at ease.
