Took my shotgun in for repair to blue teal and received first class service and a top quality repair .Dave the proprietor was a wealth of experience and knowledge and a pleasure to deal with.what a refreshing change.I would definitely return should the need arise.

I went to get my Air Arms Khamsin tested as I wasn't sure what the foot pounds force was having not used it for a few years and wasn't sure if it had ever exceeded the 12 ftlbs that meant it should be licensed.

The shop was shabby but the owner seemed knowledgeable recognising the make and model immediately. His lady assistant had no idea. I asked him whether or not the rifle needed licensing as I was unsure what the ftlbs force of the rifle was. He (the owner), convinced me that I should get it tested and told me to come back after the weekend.

In the meantime I saw somewhere that the Khamsin shoots around 11ftlbs and on going to fetch the rifle said as much to the owner. His response to me was, "I don't know who told you that. They shoot nowhere near that. Yours shot an average of 8"

BUSTED! He charged me £10 for something he already knew and had no need to test. I began to challenge him but there were a couple of guys whom he seemed to know in the shop and I was recovering from a hip replacement and walking with a stick. All in all I was pressured into paying for an unnecessary procedure. I won't be going there again, for anything.
