Just a short review to say how incredibly impressed I was with this delightful cafe. The staff were so friendly the moment I walked through the door. The cakes were utterly amazing, truly couldn’t decide. The apple crumble cake was perfect. The cappuccino was lovely - and big! I had to take some with me (which was happily accommodated). I am not a regular but was kindly treated as one, and I will most certainly be back. Thank you.

Absolutely amazing! 🎉🎉🎉I ordered a selection of gluten-free cakes, which came carefully wrapped and presented beautifully in a cute box. Each cake took me back to my childhood! They were soft, moist, and absolutely delicious. 🤩😍🫠

Fantastic range of flavoured drinks (butterscotch latte anyone?) Including iced boba. Definitely worth the trip if you're GF and if you can't come here, order cake by post! 🤤🤤

What a lovely find. Been to Penistone today for the first time in years and happened upon this café. Really enjoyed the sandwich & coffee there and brownie I had as takeaway. The staff were very welcoming and helped my elderly father to find the toilet outside somewhere around the back.

Great little cafe would highly recommend delicious coffee and food, great cakes too would definitely be back for one.

Lovely little cafe with super friendly staff and amazing gluten free bakes. So nice to see my mum be able to order anything off the menu knowing it’s GF. Definitely worth the 1 hour round trip, we’ll be back! 😍

Fabulous little cafe which offers wonderful gluten free cakes and meals. As a family including a child with coeliac disease who cannot eat gluten we were thrilled to find this place. Visits are a real treat for all of us and the owner and staff always go out of their way to offer friendly, helpful service. Food and drinks are excellent quality and the selection of cakes is amazing. Highly recommended if you live locally or further afield. Definitely one of the best cafes offering gluten free options we've visited anywhere.

We loved this little cafe. It was the ideal place to take a break on a long journey. The team were all really friendly and welcoming, even though they’d had a frantic morning. Our food was delicious and the cakes amazing. Hope we can stop there again.

We were in Penistone today because we had an appointment at Pennine Law. We arrived a bit early so we decided to have a cup of coffee in Cafe Crème. We ordered a large latte and a lovely young girl then brought it over to our table for us. We really enjoyed it. Service was great and a lovely pleasant atmosphere in the coffee shop. Plenty of cakes to choose from too. We will definitely go there for coffee again the next time we are in Penistone.

Once I’d managed to park in the village (not as easy as it should be!) this was a welcome discovery. Probably the best coffee I’ve had in a while and a fine selection of cakes. The delicious looking hash brown stack will have to wait until next time!

Smashing, welcoming, busy little cafe, delicious lunches and couldn't resist the obligatory cakes! Definitely recommend the quiche, and the homemade red coleslaw is delicious. Haven't visited before 2pm as yet so not had chance to sample a breakfast/brunch but sure looks good.... get there before 2pm if you fancy the lovely crispy looking chips with your lunch. I'm determined to get there earlier next time! :D

Friendly staff and really nice food. I had the quiche, my husband had big breakfast (available till 1 45 on Saturday). Also a delicious cake. Good value. Recommend!

I enjoyed my tuna sandwich. The dragon fruit and mango mix drink was nice. The sprinkle cake was tasty, overall a good afternoon lunch. Nice staff. Would recommend

Fantastic gluten free choice!

Great to be able to choose anything from a menu when you've got milk and wheat intolerances. A massive choice of home-baked gluten and dairy free cakes. Their vegan chocolate cake is possibly the best cake I've ever tasted (and I've tried more than my fair share)!

Highly recommended for a visit.

I regularly get my coffee from here, always great. Had some blueberry and lemon cake today and it was outstanding! The piece was quite big, I probably should have saved some for later but my will power was never going to resist that cake.

Really lovely cafe, first time we have visited cos we come over from cheshire for a family lunch for our son’s birthday treat suited all tastes 2 big breakfasts for son and grandson, panini granddaughter, quiche for wife and sausage on barm for me. Sorry about wife not wanting Yorkshire tea she’s never been trained right lol but she said your Earl grey was perfect. Then a big box of various deli shops cakes especially loved the Bakewell tart smothered with sliced almonds just out of the oven to share before we returned home.

delightful little cafe, great selection of brownies and cakes, including gluten and dairy free ones. the paninis were lovely as well, I'd really recommend the halloumi and sweet chilli panini.
