I have a much loved 1983 Raleigh Rapide that I restored in readiness to ride L'Eroica next year. However I managed to cross thread the bottom brackets by reinstalling them on the wrong sides! Not only was Lee able to re-cut the threads and rebuild the bottom bracket, but he also renewed the headset and several other vital repairs. The bottom bracket work was particularly challenging and very important to me in keeping the bike original.
Next level technical skills and decision making. But also wonderful service. My go to LBS from now on!

Became aware of this shop from YouTube. Very impressive work and excellent videos showing what they do. Ordered the 5 grease set and a new chain from them and everything arrived quickly and was exactly as described. Would love to visit in person the next time I am in the UK.

Outstanding bike shop. Took a vintage bike in for a service and Lee performed miracles. Look up Bikespeeds on YouTube and you'll see the care and integrity Lee puts into his work. As I was getting my newly restored bike off the train a passenger in his 70s said, "That's just like a bike I used to ride. it's in amazing condition". Chapeau Lee!

Got a new road bike today, took it out of the box, first thing I did is phone Lee to get him to service it. He told me to bring it down today, but it might take a while because he's busy. Fine with me, I was in no real rush. Dropped it off at 11:45, Lee contacted me at 15:20 to let me know it had been finished!!! Lee provided me with a full service breakdown, there were a few things to be tightened up (to be expected with a bike right out of the box). Brilliant service, great value for money. I recommend bikespeeds to everone I come across. They have a great YouTube channel too!!! One happy cyclist:)

Always excellent service at Bikespeeds. I recently contacted Lee regarding a wheel that I needed. We agreed on which wheel I needed, Lee called me the next morning to say it had arrived and was ready to collect. Wonderful!
(Edit) 2 years on from initial review, I took another wheel into Lee. He gave the options of repairing or replacing. I decided to replace. The next day, Lee text me to say the wheel was in. When I collected it, Lee had changed the cassette and tyre over to the new wheel. I got the wheel home and was ready to ride. Once again, absolutely top service from a top bloke. Thanks Lee! 😊 👍

Excellent service, prices and person. I like to trust people I do business with and that comes easy with Lee. I would give 6 stars if I could. Provided he keeps going I would not take my bicycles anywhere else.

I've never used the shop as its too far from me. However, I love their YouTube channel. They have taught me a lot and saved me a few quid!

Lee replaced my gear cables. I dropped my bike into the shop first thing. Lee carried out the work really quickly and was very helpful. Picked up the bike the same day and very reasonably priced as well.

I've just collected my Giant TCR Composite T-Mobile 2004 after a full service by Lee and it now rides so much better. A prompt first class service at a very competitive price; I would have no hesitation in recommending Lee to all my cycling friends.

Brilliant place. Had a Service done super quick, report completed showing work done. Issues with gear changes solved to boot. Would definitely recommend.
