The Old Kiln Cafe

Lovely cafe with a very nice semi-private room toward the back for larger groups.

The food was very good, and it was nice to have a lighter refreshing salad, even if it was heavier thanks to a nice slice of goat cheese (you'll need to order bread as well). Recommend getting the mac and cheese with the pulled, it's delicious.

Highly recommended if you walked the path to through the three distilleries. This cafe would be a nice reward at the end of the road.

The cafe does not take reservations.

Le café est fermé jusqu'à fin octobre, il ne sert pas à manger, seulement à boire. Seul le foodtruck à côté sert à manger le midi jusqu'à 15h30.

Did a day trip to Islay and planned to have a nice lunch here, but found out the Cafe has been closed for food for some years, Google needs to update there details on this, the is food truck which was very busy and offered a limited choice, but was welcoming and handy.
