Fantastic place to eat. Staff brilliant. Order taken and had our meals within minutes drinks etc. The roast lamb was the best tasting piece of lamb I can remember eating same goes for the other 12 family members with me. Already booked to go back for the Christmas menu. Prices are also very very good. Cannot thank the smugglers enough.
Go and see for yourself. Went back for the Valentines night and the food was as ever fantastic. The staff were lovely. Service fast but not rushed. Thank you for another fab meal and evening

Great meal here. We all had steak and mostly, they were all good, but a couple said they were a bit tough. And therein lies the problem with steak it doesn't matter how much you pay it can sometimes be tough. All in all, excellent value and service . Very pleased with the meal for 6 of us. Gluten free was well catered for and no problem at all.

So at last Smugglers reopens as a restaurant and we decided to try it out on a late March evening. To be honest I was disappointed that we have lost a local pub but glad that it was open at all. Booked on line, booking confirmed within 12 hours. Restaurant was busy at 7:30. Most tables full. Good to see. Service was efficient and very friendly. Menu has been targeted for mass appeal and priced accordingly. Mains are good value - starters and deserts are half price at the moment. Food was excellent. Well cooked and good portions. As we only live 50M away I think we will be back.

Booked a table for 3 during the week. When we arrived the staff were very friendly and showed us our table. The food ordered was low in price so we were not expecting masive portions or top quality food but how wrong we were. The food came out quickly and was of very good quality we had 3 courses and the prices were very good. Will definately be going back a fantastic pub with good food and excellent staff.

I wish I could rate this place more than 5 stars. After having a wonder of the town we found this pub to have some late lunch not realising they all shut there kitchens around 3, we went to leave after finding this out but the staff went above and beyond to cook us some lunch. I had the Mac and Cheese which was the best thing I have ever eaten and my partner had the ham egg and chips which he said was really good too. They had a good offer on that with a ice cream to follow which again was so refreshing and yummy. I wish we lived closer to be able to return as we loved it there, again thank you so much for feeding us we are beyond grateful!

This is a wonderful place to eat. The portions are more than adequate and as you leave, full of the fine food, your wallet will still be fairly full, due to the great prices and offers.

Food was great, service was a bit slow, but we were not in a hurry. Waitresses were friendly and accommodating. One of my favorite places to eat.

When we arrived here we were placed at a lovely table in the restaurant.
We ordered our drinks.
And we were served by a really polite member of staff.
Nothing seemed to much for her she looked after us for entire visit.

Very good unassuming pub with a very long history. Plenty of seating with a separated restaurant. Excellent beers and a good choice of food. Friendly staff. Good sized adventure garden.

I was taken here by my sister and brother-in-law. Catered for my vegan style very well. I would definitely recommend 👌.

Ist time there and was pleasantly surprised.Very good service think chef went a bit mad with my salad enough for 4 people. Very busy but no pressure no rush.

What a hidden gem. Great value 3 course meal for £10! Choice of starters and desserts plus fish or steak mains. Food served quickly and freshly cooked, although it was busy with at least 50 diners. very tasty. Restaurant nicely decorated too.
