Good food/ nice enough atmosphere.

Absolutely amazing food- tasted amazing and fresh, the garlic mushrooms were absolutely our favourite tapas dish we had but it was a hard choice to pick from
Great price for great tapas-

We only popped in for drinks for half an hour before heading elsewhere for a meal, but the drinks all looked awesome and the food smelled amazing, so we will be back. Service was lovely, nice vibe.

Pretty 'instagramable' restaurant serving pizza and bao buns. Hard to choose! Both of us opted for pizza. Slightly disappointed with the nduja and honey pizza, it should have had Creme Fraiche, but they had run out. Would definitely go back for bao buns.

If you want an "instagrammable" place, this is it. Absolutely gorgeous inside, love the decor, and definitely go visit the famous bathroom for a photoshoot in the cutest bathroom you have ever seen. Food was good, staff were good, overall great outing

Went for bottomless brunch with work friends and was fabulous staff were friendly and attentive, drinks were constantly flowing and food was amazing wound highly recommend

Brilliant food, I enjoy the themed menu. Staff were very friendly and the price was very reasonable given the quality of food.

We went here on Saturday 1st April. From the moment we stepped through the door we were made to feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Our server Katie was brilliant, very attentive and friendly, as was the owner. Didn’t feel rushed at all. We had tapas and were not disappointed! There was plenty for the 4 of us and very reasonably priced. Although we live and hour away we would definitely dine here again.

Nice restaurant, very modern 'instagram' worthy style. Food was decent, meat was well cooked, lacked salad with the burger meal and the chips were a bit lackluster. Drinks were fantastic, I recommend the 'hippy juice' cocktail. Service was a bit slow.

We came here after winning a raffle prize. We had never seen the place before with it being upstairs. Food and drink was really reasonably priced and lovely. Place is beautiful and all the staff were really nice. We have already talked about going back.

I genuinely do not review restaurants unless they are exceptional. 808 is exceptional. If you are in Sunderland this is a 100% must. Tapas not everyone's bag, ( including my wife xxx) but try it.. she agrees.... 4 tapas dishes between us plus 2 drinks for 28 pounds. Each dish different and all exceptional. Prawn Gambas. Beef Teriyaki. Beef brisket croquettes in satay. Chicken in chilli and honey....we added potata bravas. More than we could eat. All superb. Met Dan the owner...introduced some staff.. so friendly ...and no long wait either. Thank you all. Brilliant.

Nearer to Sunniside of Sunderland but what a surprise when entering the bar. Decor is amazing and the booth's are fab for seating 8 easily.
Staff very friendly and polite. Nothing was a trouble to them.
Extensive drink menu.
Tapas were to die for. We didn't have one we didnt enjoy.
Visited on an afternoon when not so busy but Would I visit again? Yes I would!
